In the 90th year of every century on Walpurgis Night, monsters of the Old World come together for a grand Sabbath. Vampires, werewolves and all manner of malefactors; they descend as one upon a sleeping city, slaking their appetites upon the populace, and covering their bloody tracks before dawn breaks over May Day. Walpurgis Night is their time for pageantry and pleasantry, intrigues and dealings, and for presenting their newly accursed progeny before the damned.
In the
Year of Our Lord 1790, a host of horrors shall be visited upon the fair country of
France. The
French Revolution commences with a gruesome parade of bloody executions. Now, the beautiful city of
Paris, La Ville Lumiere, shall play host to the
Fourth Walpurgis Night Sabbath.
In the
Year of Our Lord 1890, the
Fifth Walpurgis Night Sabbath shall take place in
London, industrious heart of the
British Empire. Two years after the gruesome murder-spree of
Jack the Ripper, the city breathes a collective sigh of relief. Little do they know what approaches from across the sea.
In the
Year of Our Lord 1990, the allure of the
New World draws the Children of the Night across the ocean to the
United States of America. The
Sixth Walpurgis Night Sabbath is to be held in
New England country, in the greater metropolis of
Boston, Massachusetts.
