Devil May Cry

Welcome to Devil May Cry. We are a roleplay based group that holds members who are very loyal fans of the video game, anime, & manga series. Here you will create and use your own original characters in the DMC world. Sounds fun right?

Please note as you join go to the Introduction form and post a brief history on who your character is. Example: Their past, What are they?, Do they have family? Did they know their family? Etc...

As of setting it there are several areas on which a roleplay may take place or if you want you can mix and match them.

Human World: Is the world in which Humans live within the Devil May Cry series. Unlike the real world, the human world in the series retains many connections to the demon world, allowing for such an abundance of demonic activity that people can make a living as Devil Hunters.

Limbo: In Limbo, the landscape appears roughly the same as in the human world, but is subtly twisted and more vibrant, and there is often demonic growth covering every surface. Beings in the human world appear only as shades in Limbo, while psychics like Kat appear as a ghostly figure, and in return can see the beings within Limbo. More strikingly, Limbo reveals the truth of the lies spread by the demons. An ad for "Candie's" hamburgers becomes "GLUTTONY IS GOOD" and "Home Loans for You" becomes "HOMELESS FOR YOU".

Demon World: Also known as "Hell", the "Underworld", the "Netherworld", and the "Devil Kingdom", is a world parallel to the Human World. The Demon World is an extension of the original darkness that covered the universe before the coming of light. It is in the Demon World where natural demons are born and also seems to serve as a source of power for the demons born there (or at least their power is reduced when they are cut off from the Demon World).
