"It may be hard to believe, but before the First Men began to inhabit Gaia, God had first created utopia upon which His beloved angels would make their home. And yes, you know them, nanna told you about the beautiful creatures: the unicorns, pegasi, colossal serpents of the sea and sand, minotaurs - all of them used to live on Gaia, just the way we have. However, it was also a home to God's brother, whose name had been lost to us."

"Nanna, why can't we say the brother's name?"

"The Scriptures have written his name only once. And neither can it be read or said, as it is written in an old language, that even the scholars couldn't decipher it. But one of the Prophets, Mihaous, had said that he heard the Last Dragon speak his name... And when he heard it, it was then when Vesuvius had erupted. It is then when the Infernal Age had started. Imagine the flames so strong that it consumed an entire portion of the ocean. Cities have burned to the ground. Many people have died, and the soil has burned beyond the healing. Not only have the Men endured the extreme heat, constant ashes in the air that blocked the sun for countless days, but they suffered in hunger, illness and thirst. Speaking his name may bring the death of all of us. So, little one. If you ever become a scholar, I advise you not to try to learn the Elder Dragon's name. For you may send an entire humanity to it's damnation."

"He (God's brother) was the biggest of them all, though he came second to everything when compared to God. He was not almighty. He had limited powers and unlike God, he only had one form while God was formless, being the light itself. He only possessed powers that were tied to Gaia, though he adored the warmth. He was territorial, selfish and wrathful, while God is forgiving, kind and generous. They were like black and white. Angels loved God, but feared his brother. The respect was equal, however. He was still God's brother. But compared to God, who was a formless all-being of light and life, his brother was what we call an Elder Dragon. Big as a mountain, his eyes were beautiful bright gold, though his scales were blood red and he had massive, curled horns. But the wings! His wings were so big, they could cover the sky and he'd cast a shadow beneath him! I know, frightening, isn't he? When my nanna told me this tale, I had nightmares for nights. He was beyond wise, for our standards. He knew many things. And unlike the Angels who shared Gaia with him, Elder Dragon managed to have countless dragon children to the point where Gaia had more dragons than any other creature. They all looked like the Elder Dragon, but some had different colors, different snouts, different horns, different wings. All of them breathing fire, bathing in lava and speaking in Tongue that only they could understand. They were all a marvel. But they brought evil upon the land. And it is dragons who have killed all the Angels and the Elder Dragon had turned against God. Which is why, if you ever meet a Dragon Sorcerer, my boy, please don't trust them. They are the descendants of the dragons. They are the devils."

"σύντριμμα. That was his name. That was the Death that brought the end to an Age. We hungered. We thirsted. And we shivered. For the God's warmth and light could not reach us. The smoke from Vesuvius had consumed, not only His light, but the sky. It is darker than night itself.

I shall never forget the sound that came from the Last Dragon's mouth. Especially that thundering noise that was like the trumpet of the God's Messengers, serving the Men their death sentence.

This was not our God. I knew it was not. For only evil could bring such destruction in a mere day, that would last for an eternity.

Men shall never recover. And as I struggle to breathe now, heed my final words - this is just one end out of many."
