What are the names of your characters?
a) Lord xxxx ... I can match it with lady Morgana
Perhaps... they have grown up together, perhaps, he treated her like a sister / best friend from very little (3 / 5 yrs +), later, they became more of a childhood rivals (9 yrs +) and spent the summers playing together (cough cough pranking and taunting each other) with their parents/tutors overlooking the mischief in the hopes of the pair end up liking each other. More recently (teens +) she refused to attend his father's summer invitations to the castle for fear of an arranged engagement/marriage without her consent. She has become stunningly beautiful but... still a bee with a sting... a flower with a thorn, not in the mood for marrying her obnoxious rival, though the king commands it so no choice on the matter
Alternatively, they have heard of each other but never actually met beyond what tavern rumours say
b) Knight xxx ... I can match it with manservant Taff
This knight is the lady's bodyguard and will go off to find her and bring her safe back home or perish trying.
The manservant will run to find the knight and explain she was taken by force on the way to the lord's castle because he saw it from a distance or he was found knocked out/left for dead by the road and reveals she's been taken. Righteous knight knows he better bring her quickly and quietly least her honour and reputation is put to question and ruins the wedding arrangement... no armed escort to keep gossip out of it but lack of backup has its risks... it is unwise to venture into the lion's den on his own.
Alternatively... lady, knight, servant were taken and the servant manages to escape to go find the lord and let him know... whilst the knight has to figure how to get himself and her out of there and back to the lord's fortress
c) Rogue xxxx ... I can match it with my rogue Aynor or Ivar
Either friends within the same group/brotherhood at the same rank and level OR one of them is the boss and the other the crew member ... OR they are rivals in which case Aynor wants the reward from stealing the girl and knight off your character's hands and selling them back to the lord... entirely up to you.
Another possibility here is that Rogue and righteous Knight know each other from growing up together in the same village/city. One choosing to follow the path of the rule of law and righteousness and enters the king's service (or lord/lady) because he is high born. Honor above all. The other choosing the path of darkness, freedom and the mantra of "rules are made to be broken" because he was a low born with no better future ahead. There's no honour among thieves. In this instance, it would make more sense you play either the knight OR the rogue and the girl would be more sidelined/NPC. If we pick this path, I would probably play righteous cheeky knight Lancelot or honourable or Merthyr. Else I would play the rogue Aynor instead. The onus here is that Rogue will push his old friend's moral boundaries and see how far and low he is willing to go to protect the girl's virtue and thus her marriage to the lord. Would a knight gamble for a girl? would a knight steal for a girl? would a knight break out prisoners for a girl? would a knight kill innocents and guards for a girl? what else would a knight do... that is not so knightly... for a girl?
d) Damsel xxxx ... I can match her with Sir Lancelot or Merthyr
He loves her very much and is truly protective of her but in true medieval fashion their courtly love is forbidden for he is just a lowborn at the king's service. He would never dare to even look at her higher than the ankles, keeping the eyes respectfully downcast and his forehead bowed in her presence... that is of course, until they are both caught by the bandits and she needs a maid to help leaving our knight in rather awkward situations at the command of/to the amusement of the Rogue

That being said, take your time to read through these ideas, think the best character fits and provide the name & position of your characters so we can start off the roleplay.
We can play one or various of these prompts / ideas or just entirely different ones.
