Epel, hardheaded and stubborn..he was persistent.
He kicked the locked door of his room over and over, hoping to manage to break it open. He had been at it for about an hour and a half now, no luck, of course. Epel, out-of-breath and sweaty, kicked one more time and then just sat down, giving up. "Dag..dagnabbit." He wheezed.
"That stupid door, those darn doctors better be glad Ah ain't stronger 'cuz Ah'd kick that door right open, Ah tell you what!" Epel muttered to himself, glaring at the door. "Dang thing made out of metal too, ain't made of no wood'er nothin'! Darn construction workers that made this place sure knew what they were doin'!" Epel ranted, even though he was alone.

A bang on the door could be heard. "Keep it down, 15. You don't want to be shocked do you? We can't concentrate on our current experiment with all that ruckus."
A voice scolded.
A voice scolded.
Epel peered to the door, growled and then stood up, promptly ramming into the door heavily with his shoulder to try and startle the employee on the other side, and then scrambled back to the wall and sat down, glaring at the floor.
This was bullcrap! He didn't belong here!
He belonged back in Harveston with his maw and paw..

The employee jumped back a bit, sighing and shaking his head. "Hey, tell the boss that he should consider scheduling subject 15 for another shock test!" He called out to another staff member, although, it would be up to the boss do decide if Epel 'needed' it or not.
The other staff member nodded and headed off to the boss' office.
Epel curled up, hugging his knees, tears building up in his eyes.
He couldn't be crying at a time like this! It would show him as weak!
He ain't weak! He's strong!
At least..he wants to be.

The staff member felt the sudden wave of dread linger over, staying quiet. There was a small side of him that.. Felt bad for them, but then again, overruled by his greed and selfishness. He shook his head, staying at the door quietly.
