About 'Tales of Middle-earth'
On March 25th of the year 3019 of the 3rd age of Middle-earth, the great One Ring was destroyed and Sauron vanquished. Much is told of this and of events that took place around this time, but much was summarized and much not spoken of.
Tales of Middle-earth is where the stories that occurred between the lines of what was written are told. For example, what is said about the reign of Aragorn and Eldarion after the war of the Ring is briefly summarized, and past events such as the division of Arnor then the downfall of the three realms are only spoken of in passing. Here we can tell these stories as they fit within the lines of accepted Middle-earth canon.
