A difficult task, as sometimes they do not agree on matters. But his loyalty to Venezia is indomitable. In peacetime, the Corazzieri are assigned to the Provveditore Generale degli Affari Militari ( Superintendent General of for Military Affairs ) and formed as the royal guard for the Doge while outside of the residences and assigned missions in the preservation of law and order, defending the Republic against plots, and general security.
