Lucca’s past is virtually unknown, spotty at best… as most of the truest facts are deeply embedded within his own mind. A past with a family history ne’r spoken of by the man himself; but rumored by those claiming to know him, and speculated by those that fear him. What of his parents? Siblings? The rumors only mention that this specific family of Arcasian lived in Serbia… and tis rumored the location of his father’s murder by unknown assailants when the boy named Lucca was young. And the Mother… though silent, feared Lucca, even at the age of 7, the year that his Father died. And the rumors continued…. shortly after he turned 10 years old, he lost his mother… she too reportedly murdered, by a highwayman. Alas, there have been no records, or rumors, of any siblings.

Upon the death of his parents, instead of being taken in by the people of his village, he was placed within the Church… And the Church kept his first name Lucca, but changed his family name from Arcasian to Arcadian; meaning, Greek for pastoral, suggesting simple, innocent contentment. Maybe this was a ploy to hide his past and make placement for adoption easier; the true reasons are unknown. But Lucca was far from innocent… or content. And in his first year with the Church, he had set fire to the alter, stolen and sold the gold crosses, and was severely punished several times for spying on, and fondling nuns. By the age of 13, he had declared himself free, belonging to no one… ran away from the Church, and changed his own name back to Arcasian.

Then the lad was not heard from for many years; many rumored he had been killed… but if anyone knew where to look, there were Church records in Novi Pazar, Serbia containing the name Arcasian , annotated in marriage of Lucca to one Anna Kerish… the birth of Tomas Arcasian … and the death of both Anna and Tomas Arcasian .

Now, years later and here in Ilha Verde, tis a dark mind, a form clothed in black, that reflects back into the days of obscure shadows... back to his former life... as a farmer and business man in Novi Pazar, Serbia:

Within Europe, Lucca Arcasian had made a name for himself as a top-grade Underworld Financier and gangster; a man-for-hire…where dirty deeds were done, but not cheaply. A ruthless murderer with no emotion, and a hard-heart… And a very difficult man to manage, unable to control, and even harder to understand where his motives lie.

The name Arcasian slowly became associated with fear and death… though the face remained unknown, the name became the embodiment of evil and decay; a particular kind of insidious evil. It was rumored that the man, by that same name, was not only dishonest and cruel, but dubious and remorseless… Then there are rumors of a woman accompanying Arcasian … one who is as mysterious, and deadly, as he.

Adventure Angle : When Tess was twenty-one, her father fell into debt, exacerbated by drinking and Tessina took a job as a courtesan to help pay the family debts. He died one year later of pleurisy and during this dark time, the young Veronese courtesan soothed her grieving heart by first falling in love with a French patron and second, becoming and assassin for him, paid to murder Italian merchants who were found to be embezzling or stealing from him. Eventually Tessina escaped to Venice after her French lover began to exhibit signs of psychosis. She found her home in a loose organization of female assassins known as the Lucciole di Morte (Fireflies of Death), a cult of executioners who are rumored to have originated in Rome during Augustus's reign. While Tessina will insist she works alone, another rumor that follows her is that she works in a duo, alongside a man as cruel and shadowy as she is.

Her eyes are a deep pine green color and she favors the color red on her lips stains, gowns and cloaks. All colors of crimson and scarlet bring out the alluring tone of her soft, white skin.

Tess seems headstrong, but her heart often pulls the marionette strings. Because of her upbringing around her playwright father, she can be histrionic and over-dramatic at times. She enjoys winning and does not like to be outplayed in anything. If she finds herself outwitted, she is likely to hold a grudge.

Born in Verona to an Italian playwright and minor dramatist, Tessina was his only child and did not know her mother. According to her father, her mother, likely a courtesan or prostitute that was her father's muse, presumably died in childbirth, but Tess always had her doubts about that story as her father loved tall tales and making up fictional endings to ordinary outings.

She also remains suspicious of her mother's heritage due to the sheer amount of French literature in the household when she was growing up. When Tessina was a youth, her father used her to help him with his play writing, and they acted out many Greek scenes together, therefore the Veronese native has a histrionic streak and is prone to using emotion over reason.

As a teenager, Tess was fascinated by the writings of Plutarch, Rousseau and Voltaire and she constantly daydreamed that her mother was a French intellectual, the kind that could help over throw a kingdom.
