I press back against her knee and make contact with her upper thigh, feeling a little tingle reminding him of the last time their thighs met! He also noticed she didn't exactly say whether she had a boyfriend or not, but he didn't specifically ask her either!
"That sounds a lot like my weeknights, minus talking to Jane!" More laughter, and if I'm not mistaken a little more push back from Sophia's leg! "Wait a minute, you're working a full time job and going to USC???? That is amazing, what are you studying, and what is the end game?"
Sophia talked about school and her goals and desires and then a man pushed his way beside her and paid his bill! There was something familiar about him as the man nodded at Zach as he walked away!
"Okay I know we said we weren't going to talk about the bus anymore tonight! but I think that guy was sitting beside us!!! That is a little weird and I don't want to scare you, but I didn't like the vibe I got from him!!!"
"That being said, would you like to get dinner together? This wine on an empty stomach is having a little bit of an affect!"

Sophia smiled as it was nice being on the same page as the guy she was talking with. She did blush when he mentioned her schedule.
“I’m not actually working full time … yet. I am on a work placement internship through my business statistics class at USC.” She didn’t actually give complete information to Zach earlier. She just mentioned USC in past tense.
Soph looked back over her shoulder and shrugged. He didn’t seem any more or less creepy to as any other strange guy. She nodded at the suggestion of getting something to eat. “ Yeah, I could go for something lightish.”
She quickly downed her latest drink and licked her lip. “What do you recommend?”

"I've heard Coles French Dip is good, it looks like the rain has stopped for now!" Zach get Eric's attention and pays the bar tab and leaves him a nice tip since it's obvious he treats Sophia well!
They get up and make their way out of the bar, "Coles is just down the block, are you okay with walking?" She nods, and he takes her hand as they walk while chatting! "It's actually turning into a nice night!!" He comments looking up at the sky!
They get to Coles and Zach opens the door for her and they go to the counter and order before finding a place to sit! "If this is good, we can make this our lunch meet up place!"

Sophia gave Eric a look and shrugged as Zach insisted in paying her tab. He reluctantly took Zach's card and ran it. Zach also gave Eric a nice tip. She hoped Eric was satisfied with that. She gave him a 'til next time' look as she and Zach left the bar. She didn't have the heart to tell Zach that he just paid her whole bar-tab. Eric was asking when it would get paid, and was likely going to demand a blowjob tonight if it got put off one more time.
"I'm fine with walking." she said, though she felt weird with him taking her hand. "It is a nice night since it cleared up." She had never been to Cole's so this was new. She didn't mind a good beef dip sandwich with fried onions, so that was what she ordered.
"It is one of many places... I like variety so wouldn't want to go to the same place all the time." Sophia also got an ice water and she drank some as they sat at a table by the front window. "I do like Quizno's which is a block down that last street we crossed."
(Zach)
He could tell she wanted to pay the bill, and he was also knew many women take offense at men that demand to pay! I guess the whole expectations thing was the reason! "I really want to pay, no strings attached and you can get the next bill if you really want, but I'm okay with paying for dinner as well!"
"I like variety as well, it's nice though to have a familiar place to come when you don't have much time and know what you like!"
He wasn't sure about taking her hand, and from her grip, it was obvious that she wasn't sure either! None the less, he liked the way it felt and hoped she would grow to like it!
They both ordered the sandwich the diner was famous for and sat by the front window, "So do you hope to turn the internship into a career, or what is your dream job?"
