002. Please be kind and courteous to everyone else! OOC and IC; let's not start arguments OOC or disregard each others' characters IC. Let's keep the drama to the plot!
003. In line with 002, if you want to make a big move IC that either involves other characters or would significantly affect the overall plot, please bring it up for discussion OOC first!
004. Once more, connected with 002 + 003, please make sure you talk to your fellow writers if you want to involve their character in something you're planning! Don't just suddenly snatch someone else's OC to be shot in a tense scene. Even if it's great drama, let's make sure everyone's on the same page! That said, reaching out to involve others' characters is highly encouraged -- don't feel like you have to just have all the drama happen solely to your character, because that's not much fun for anyone else either haha.
005. Adult Content/NSFW/Mature Themes are allowed, this
is a zombie apocalypse story! If you plan to involve anything especially triggering in detail or write a scene focusing on it (themes such as: self-harm, suicide, or infant/child death [or anything you feel needs it]), please indicate it at the top of your post. No need to censor or put anything under a spoiler, unless you prefer to, but do remember to add that little warning at the top of your post!
006. As already stated, this group will contain 18+ content, be it violence/gore, language, or sexual themes. I don't want to majorly restrict anyone, but there are a few things that won't be tolerated: anything against site rules obviously, anything sexual involving minors, and including NSFW imagery without a spoiler and appropriate warnings. As a side note, if there are any topics you feel might be especially hardcore but want to include for backstory purposes or any other reason, please feel free to reach our privately or via OOC discussion to confirm it's okay with everyone present.
007. ~wobbly rule~ I'm considering having sexual scenes either be under spoilers or in separate threads from others that will be largely non-sexual. For example, if there are two characters in the Farmhouse thread and they begin a sex scene, rather than have those NSFW posts unavoidable in the middle of the rest of the non-sexual story writing, their posts would either be put under spoilers or would transition to a separate thread purposely for sex scenes. If anyone has thoughts on this, please feel free to PM me or bring it up in the
Inner Workings forum!
