Non Omnis Moriar

Hey, all.

So I've been having this idea in my head for quite a long time and never really had the opportunity to roleplay it.

So, without getting into much detail, I was wondering if anyone of you (current and any future members) would be interested to have a similar dynamic between our characters like Geralt and Ciri from The Witcher series, or Joel and Ellie from The Last Of Us. If anyone isn't familiar with them, I'm talking about student/mentor - father/child (found family) relationship.

I think that could be a good thing and will give Vladimir something that will brighten his days, something to protect, care about and sacrifice for.

That said, we can figure out whether they would already know each other (and the details) or they could meet in the RP and shape their relationship as we roleplay here

Hi Vlad! I need to finish off creating Willabeth (just some fine tuning, as I've moved her from another site) but I think this might actually work well with her character? Brief backstory is that she witnessed her father's death, but no one believed it was supernatural. She's leant to hunt herself because she wants to discover what it was, but she's pretty untrained and wants the guidance to become a hunter. I reckon I can tweak this enough to help you do the plot that you have wanted to do?

Willabeth looks like an awesome character! I particularly like her personality. It's totally opposite to Vlad's rough demeanor and she'll most definitely bring some color into his days. I'm very much interested in having this dynamic between our characters, but I must say that there will be no romance between them. You probably already guessed that, but I just want to make sure you know, because in the past I've had some weird requests I'm not comfortable with.

That being said, do you want this to have already happened and for our characters to already be in a student/mentor relationship, or do you want them to meet for the first time during the RP?

Haha I was not expecting romance at all!! So no need to worry about that.

To be honest I can see it working either way (meeting during the rp or us already having established that connection). As it's a plot you have wanted to do for a while, do you have a preference?

I think I'm leaning more towards meeting in the RP. Instead of having to discuss their history, why don't they just make it in the RP? This will give us a lot of fun moments and we'll have to learn how our characters function, rather than just pretending to know. That way we'd be able to shape the dynamic between our character naturally.

That being said, do you have any preference about how they'll meet? Like in some action-packed scene or more laid back scenario?

Yeah I think meeting in the Rp sounds like a great idea, as it'll allow us to really see how they interact rather than falsifying it. I'm going to do the finishing touches on her when I finish work tomorrow

I'm happy either way, but I do think something more action packed could be a fun way to begin the Rp? Let me know your thoughts.

Hey, sorry. I've read your post, but have been busy with a work project I'm working on in the weekeds as well. My mind has been all over the place and forgot to reply. I'm totally still interested and I think them meeting in a more action packed scene will be great.

We'd just have to brainstorm something. Would it be okay to do it here or in a PM? I don't mind either way.
