1.
Writing Style: Use proper spelling, grammar, and third-person point of view at all times.
2.
Respect Boundaries: No godmodding or metagaming. You control your character; not anyone else’s thoughts, actions, or reactions.
3.
Let It Flow: Romantic ships should develop naturally through chemistry and storytelling. Don’t force connections. And remember, relationships can change in an instant.
4.
Stay Organized: Keep in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC) content in their proper spaces. We love creative chaos, but not disorganized clutter.
5.
Real Faceclaims Only: No artwork, AI or deceased FCs allowed. Preference for known celebrities, models and actors. Choose someone who has plenty of high-quality pictures and videos available, since The Spill will feature their images in posts/videos. Remember that the roleplay is set in high school (minimal visible tattoos, minimal facial hair, etc.).
6.
Keep It On-Brand: This roleplay centers around wealthy teenagers attending an elite high school in Beverly Hills. Characters involved in gangs, organized crime, or mafia-related activity don’t fit the setting and will not be accepted.
7.
OOC ≠ IC: Just because your characters hate each other doesn’t mean you do. Don’t let fictional drama turn into real-life mess.
8.
Formatting: Bold all dialogue inside quotation marks for clarity. Clean posts make for better reading.
9.
Content Awareness: This roleplay may contain mature themes (e.g., sex, drugs, alcohol). For explicit sexual content, fade to black when appropriate.
10.
Post Length: Roleplay replies should be around 4–8 sentences (roughly 1–2 paragraphs). Occasional longer posts are fine, but consistently exceeding the limit may result in a reminder.
11.
Wrap It Up: Finished in a location? Mark the scene with "END" so others know it’s closed.
12.
Character Cap: Maximum of two characters per roleplayer, one female and one male. If roleplaying with both consistently, you may be eligible to make more.
13.
Only IC Accounts in the Roleplay Forum: Please do not post in your OOC account in the Roleplay forum. Only post as OOC in the OOC forums. Use the roleplay chat topic in the OOC forum for roleplay clarifications, if needed. This is to avoid clutter and OOC chat in roleplay topics.
13.
Be Spontaneous: This roleplay thrives on dynamic interactions and spontaneous drama. Don’t be afraid to meet new characters, stir up drama, or throw yourself into the chaos. If you see a scene you’d like to join, ask first! If it’s closed, no hard feelings — there will always be another opportunity to interact.
