    Your wish …

The bunny on my panties seemed to burrow even further between my legs as I tried to somehow rock the embarrassingly pink ensemble.
“Hey sweetie, do they make those pajamas for adults too?”
I wanted to give the car whizzing by with the three rowdy teenagers inside the finger, but while I was still deciding whether my left or right hand would be better, they had already disappeared around the next corner and gotten away scot-free.
I would never again go out early in the morning, half asleep, to get the newspaper, never again!
“There you go, ma'am. The door is open again. Please remember to take a key with you next time you leave the house.”
I gave the nice older gentleman from the locksmith service a pained smile and nodded politely. The day had started so badly, surely it would be better at the office today. It had to be better!
    Spoiler: It didn't get better.

“Hey! Oh my God, I'm so glad I caught you. You have to help me!” Without asking, David dumped a stack of folders and advertising brochures on my tidy desk.
“Sure, I'll help you. What's going on?” David was charming and friendly, and I liked him as a colleague. And even though he was always busy, he somehow managed to climb the career ladder much faster than I did.
“You're also attending the meeting with our board in an hour. I have to present our new product line there and... how should I put it... I need a presentation. Urgently. But I have another meeting before that, you know, priority one and all that. Could you...?” He gave me his best puppy dog eyes. “Please, please?”
I looked back and forth between him and the advertising stuff, finally sighed and nodded.
“Oh, great! You're the best! Everything you need to know is in here. Just come up with a few facts, some nice pictures, and I'll freestyle the rest. You owe me one!”
And with that, he was gone again, and I sat down to create the presentation for him.
    ...
And what can I say? He was incredible! He spoke confidently, appeared self-assured, and answered all questions with ease. He really had a talent for charming people and making it look so easy. His natural gift for speaking brought out the best in my presentation, and the meeting went great. I was so proud of him!
With a smile, I gathered my notes and left the meeting room. Only to realize that I had absentmindedly left my favorite pen behind.
I quickly returned, only to pause at the door when I heard the voices of David and our CEO inside.

“David, congratulations, the presentation was incredible. Your knowledge of the product line is fantastic, but what impressed me most was the presentation itself. So fact-based, without being boring. To the point and so understandable that everyone in the room could follow along. That was really good work.”
“Thank you very much, sir. I spent days preparing intensively for our meeting. I wanted everything to be perfect.”
This was the moment when I should have barged in and spoken up. I deserved some of that praise, at least, and if David couldn’t admit it, then I should damn well claim it for myself!
Instead, I turned around and sacrificed my favorite pen and my pride, just because I was so damn cowardly.
Damn it, the day turned out to be one big defeat! But surely... surely things would go better tonight on my first date with Richard. They had to go better!
    Spoiler: They didn't go better.

“Nice to finally meet you!” My heart leapt with joy, because Richard was exactly what his Tinder profile had promised. Tall, blond, handsome. Head of a car rental company and very polite.
“I'm also excited that we're taking the next step and meeting in real life.” He toasted me with his glass of wine, and I couldn't help but blush a little.
“Aaaaah! Is that possible?!” A high-pitched female voice next to me suddenly demanded my full attention.
“Hm?” It took me a moment to recognize the red-haired beauty. “Oh... Tina! I wasn't expecting to see you here... what a coincidence!” I gave her a warm hug, and we both laughed.
“Richard, may I introduce you? This is Tina. We were best friends in elementary school. Wow, how long has it been? I think it's been five years since the last class reunion.”
Tina nodded eagerly. “That's far too long! We have to get together more often, you hear? I don't want to lose touch with you again.”
And then it happened, that awkward silence that I hated so much. I always believed that all expectations rested on me, as if I had to perform constantly and everywhere. As if I was only good for something if I could contribute and be useful.
And so it happened. I spoke faster than I thought: “Would you like to join us, Tina?”
“Oh yes, I'd love to.” And with that, she made herself comfortable at our table.
“Would you like some of my beef fillet? It's delicious,” I offered politely.
She shook her head vigorously. “No, thank you, I'm vegan.”
“Really? You too?” Richard chimed in again. “What a coincidence, I'm vegan too. How long have you been vegan? Was it difficult to make the switch? What supplements do you use?”
Well, what can I say? I was a failure when it came to putting my own wishes into practice. But at least I got a medal for being the best matchmaker in the world.

    … is my command

Tired, I let myself fall into bed and sighed as the fluffy blanket enveloped me. Angry and helpless, I threw my hands up in the air.
“What have I done to deserve so much bad luck?” I lamented to the dark bedroom ceiling. “What should I do to finally have some luck?” I was a little desperate. Nothing had been going well for a long time. “Should I pray to the holy God-Frog or sacrifice virgins?!”
“I'm not a god, but I could make it rain frogs if it makes you happy.”
My body jerked upright when it heard the dark voice next to me. Even faster than my brain could keep up, I jumped out of bed, got tangled up in that damn fluffy blanket, and kissed the floor hard.
Loud laughter was my applause as I slowly struggled to my feet.
So this is what a heart attack must feel like. Adrenaline rushed through my veins, sweat ran down my back, my hands trembled, and my breathing became shallow.
    “Please don't scream...”
    I started screaming.
    - snap -
    My voice fell silent instantly.
“I told you, please don't scream.”
Like a fish out of water, my mouth opened and closed without making a sound. I looked at the stranger, who was still lying calmly and comfortably in my bed.
My gaze darted restlessly around the room. What could I use as a weapon? Would I be fast enough to escape from the room? Could I jump out of the window?
“Forget it, sweetheart. You're not my first hysterical woman. No matter what you imagine in your pretty little head, believe me, I've seen it all before.” He slowly got up and walked casually towards me.
"Everything's fine, really. I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you because you're so unhappy.“ His flawless smile was at least a start. Damn pretty privilege. ”So, before you ask, my name is Zekeharal, but you can call me Zeke. I'm... your fairy godmother. You know, granting wishes and stuff."
Somewhere in my head, a catchy tune popped up uninvited. Oddparents… Fairly Oddparents...
His laughter distracted me. "Those incredulous looks... oh... always delightful. So, in short: Blah blah, yes, magic really does exist. Yes, I have wings, but I can summon them as I please. Yes, good fairies can also be male. No, not all of them are as good-looking as me. No, I can't bring anyone back from the dead, no, I can't force true love, and yes, I can provide sex.“ His grin was mischievous. ”Believe it or not, my job is to make you happy, and then I'll be sent to the next customer. Any questions?"
I tried to respond, but my voice was still silent.
“Oh, right. Sorry.” He snapped his fingers again. “There you go.”
I cleared my throat cautiously, still incredulous at what was happening in front of me. “How... why... why me? There are so many more unfortunate people in this world.”
He just shrugged. “That's not up to me. The bosses at the top decide that.” He pointed vaguely toward the ceiling. “It's probably some kind of random principle. But hey, I'm not complaining. Before I freeze my ass off somewhere or have to take cover from gunfire... I quite like having an easy job sometimes.” He grinned again before his gaze fell on my bunny pajamas. “Although... the job doesn't seem that easy to me. That's definitely not going to work.”
    Another snap......
    and I was naked.
“H-Hey!” I screamed, reflexively trying to cover my nakedness.
He laughed again before snapping his fingers once more, and suddenly smooth, deep red silk enveloped my body. Just looking at my breasts in that wicked bra made my face flush.
    “You... you can't...”
“Oh, sweetie,” he whispered delightedly. “I can and I will.”
