⚜️ Caspian Dubois ⚜️

caspian_art1.jpg

Age -:- 28
Title -:- His Highness, Crown Prince of Éraille
House (Caer) -:- Dubois
Ancestral Seat -:- Château des Arbres Noirs
(“Castle of the Black Trees”), nestled within the mist-shrouded Dubois Forest near the River Lysandre.

🪶 Appearance 🪶

Caspian stands tall and self-assured, commanding attention without ever asking for it.

At 188 cm (6’2”), he carries his height with the ease of a warrior and the poise of a prince… his frame athletic athletic and lean, trained from youth for combat and riding, weighs in at 14 stone (88.9 kg; 196 lbs). His movements are measured yet edged with quiet alertness, like a blade sheathed in silk. Dark chestnut, streaked faintly with bronze, curled rebelliously at his collar despite every attendant’s effort to tame it, and the faint scar along his jaw caught the light when he turned his head… an imperfection of battle that only sharpened his allure.

💠 Personality 💠

Caspian is a study in control and contradiction. Outwardly poised and every inch the royal heir, he is inwardly restless… his sense of duty locked in quiet war with a yearning for freedom. He is perceptive, intelligent, and known for his restraint, but behind the calm veneer lies an emotional depth he seldom allows others to see. He values honesty and sincerity above all… perhaps because he has lived surrounded by lies and political performances. When angered, his composure turns cold rather than explosive, a habit learned from watching his father’s court devour itself with pride and ambition. Despite his distance, he is capable of deep loyalty and unexpected tenderness. The danger lies in the intensity of his affections; once his heart commits, it commits entirely.

⚜️ His Story ⚜️

Born second to the throne, Caspian was never meant to rule. His elder brother, Prince Adrien embodied everything a prince should be… golden, fearless, adored.

Two years older than Caspian, Prince Adrien died in a “hunting accident” five years prior. (would now be 30 years old ... died at 25). His death set the kingdom’s tension aflame and forced Caspian into the role of heir.

Caspian, quieter and more introspective, was educated and trained as the Second Son, he lived comfortably in that shadow until Adrien’s death shattered the kingdom’s illusion of stability. Suddenly, Caspian was heir apparent.

The accident… if it was one… left him haunted. His father grew colder, the court more vicious, and Caspian himself more guarded.

Rumors of poison, jealousy, and betrayal whispered through the corridors of Château des Arbres Noirs, and the prince learned quickly that truth was a luxury few could afford.

In the years since, Caspian has worn the crown’s weight like a chain. He fulfills every duty expected of him… signing decrees, attending councils, courting the noblewoman chosen for him… but behind his calm exterior festers quiet rebellion. He dreams of escape, of a life unmeasured by lineage and law.

When he meets her… a commoner promised to a wealthy merchant, standing beneath chandeliers she doesn’t belong to…. something within him stirs. For the first time in years, Caspian feels alive, not as a prince or a son, but as a man.
