UNSC Stood-Among-Ashes and her crew drop out of slipspace in the orbit of a previously unknown Superplanet.
An old maneuver was taken from the Cole Protocols to preform a random series of Slipspace Jumps in order to escape a Banished Raid Party.*
“Report!” *Captain Holt roars.*
“No Signs of Pursuit Sir!”
“…Thank god for that…Now where the hell are we?”
“Still working on that one sir.”
*After thought and deliberation. Captain Holt authorizes Probes and recon teams being sent to the surface. All the while thoroughly bombarding the planet with scans
What they found? More Banished. Who seemed to be sitting on a stockpile of Forerunner tech.
They couldn’t be allowed to take it back to Atriox.
During deployment recon teams observed slipspace anomolies. Notating that they varied in size and intensity. Some spit out items. Some spit out creatures. A list of observed anomalies will be later released once ONI and Science personnel have had a chance to study data.
For now. Orders are to watch and Wait. -
