WELCOME TO NEO ASTRA

When the world was introduced to super powers a few decades ago, it sprung forth a new cultural lifestyle in the wake of what started as pure chaos from the emergence of super powers. That honeymoon phase of people cutting lose with their newly found abilities has finally settled down though, and from the emergent super people of the world, a balance of power has been Kinda Formed!

Governments and countries across the world have their own roster of super powerful Meta's, which are utilized like the new age nuclear arms race which has lead to a Cold-War of sorts across the world. An age of 'Peace' is more so a tense standstill as the global elite sit back with their hands on the button to send forth their Omega Threat Meta Humans, if needed. So, the silent treaty has been signed. Everyone plays cool, and a Super War does not erupt across the globe!

This has lead to the Super Utopia Project to kick off. Project Neo Astra! A city built from the ground up with Meta folk in mind. Goods, services, and all aspects of the city have been designed for people with powers. This doesnt stop the brave and the bold 'Normal' folk from moving in though, as its a free city and anyone can come and go.

What makes NA so special, and why do we zoom in now to follow the stories within? Well, this is the story of the new-age average folk, and the lifestyle of both Super Heroes and Villains alike! The stories here in Neo Astra are not ones of Global Threat, and cataclysmic risks! Meta's who are that powerful have no place in NA and are swept off to Government Blacksites and Teams to keep true peace in the world at large, while the daily lives of us smaller peeps can carry on and become the thrilling tales we wish to follow!

You will not find OP, god-tier, multiversal level threats here in Neo Astra! The stories and characters here are local. Set to the city. Still ripe with danger, risk, and peril! But they matter because anyone and everyone around the city can, and probably will be involved at some point! These are not the stories of ~"Only one hero can save us!"~ They are the tales of true characters, on their own journey through life, being shaped every day by those around them and their own motivations.

So come on in, and tell us your story! Are you a Hero? A Villain? Some flavor of Anti? Or maybe even just a civilian caught up in it all?!

We cant wait to have you, and see where our stories unfold!

This group is a RP sandbox for all us Super Fans to come and flex our creative muscles together. As RPers, it's our responsibility to tell a story that can engage with and include as many people in our community as we can! There is no one-person show. If we don't share our moments in the limelight, we are destined to dull and fade.

There is no 'winning' in collaborative writing. There is no highscore to achieve or victory to grab hold of. What we do have though is that satisfaction and pride you feel when you witness great things arise from the collective tales of all of our ideas, unifying into greatness. And THAT is what we can call a win! So let's all make this place as great a community as we can, and let our ideas live rent free together in a space we are excited to see them thrive.
