Welcome to the Earth you never knew!

The year is 2055, set in a future where the world as a whole has been sculpted over the last half a centuries by the presence of super powers! In the year 2000 at the turn of the millennia, the unfathomable happened. Super beings since the dawn of history had been scarcely seen and recorded for all this time. But Y2K brought with it an Awakening Event! While the triggering of this event being celestial, cosmic, genetic, or some amalgamation of possibilities is still unknown, what the world quickly learned of was the presence and promise of Super Powers!

The world of course would never remain the same with such new and wondrous abilities among the population. Everyone has their own origin story still of how their powers awakened. But there are those too who were just born into it. What ever super gene within their parents passed down to them, if not awakened by some sort of definable moment.

There came a new vision for such a super powered society though. One which the global powers agreed on needed to be the test of endurance for this new society. They needed a place to go which the rules and laws would be different. Where their super powered nature could exist without question and leave normal folks a chance on the outside to keep existing as it was.

The city of Neo Astra was soon created! A designated super society to be. A place where the powerful or freakish could exist without question and begin the testing of how to properly monitor and govern super society.

And so this is where our story begins! The world is hectic. The city is so new. And the rules hardly exist! It will be up to the people in this brand new project to see how their society can develop, and what the future will look like.

Neo Astra - New Star

Build to be a utopia of supers, the vision for Neo Astra after the chaos of Y2K was one of hope and peace. Such as the world always devolves into though, human nature can never be changed. Utopia is a dream, and even with super powers and capabilities once beyond imagining, it turned out such would always be a dream. The New Star did not shine as brightly and as purely as the Utopia Project wanted it to be. So what the world received instead was essentially the NYC of Super Powered Individuals.

"If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere!"

Neo Astra quickly shaped itself to become the Super Capital of the World. A place quickly shaped by the people and culture of super powered life. Business and luxury was a growing culture with super powered intertwined every which way. The diversity of powers dwarfed the difference of fellow human beings, and people now had more in common because of their differences than ever before. But where there is great power, well, you know the rest. Not everyone is responsible with their powers, and thus it is a city with crime just as much as it is ripe with joyous opportunity. So how will you add to the city? Your story awaits, and the world is ready for how you might affect it next!

• Characters are to be 'In Universe Only.' Because this is a new setting all around, and RP and Timeline continue to grow and develop it, we do not want Time Travelers, Cross Dimensional Characters, Multi-Verse Characters, or even Distant Galaxy Characters arriving in this setting. The Phenomenon for the story thus far is that Super Powers are only half a century old. Its a young and developing Super World!
• If your character is not based around some sort of highly advanced technology that is made possible by super powers, then your characters powers should be Part of Them. No Godly-Gifts or Boons.
• For Tech Based Characters - There is a Mega Corporation known as SAVAGE TECHNOLOGIES who are the lead Super-Tech Based Company in the world! Your gear and supplies probably came from them! I will be adding a section for more depth about them soon!

Savage Technology is a family owned business that has been passed on through the ages. In the early days, the offered practical and simple solutions for day to day life. Research and Development teams that focused on making modern products as simple and user friendly for the masses as possible.

This backing lead ST to grow with success. A household name. A professional name. ST was partnered with for many future endeavors thereafter, for to their practical thinking skills and outside of the box solutions for development. They shot to the top, regarding financial success and investors ready to put their resources into ST's hands.

The coming of the Super Age marked the start of the new age of all technology. ST paved the way, for household and world friendly technology on a super level was the next needed thing in life. Products and devices that would withstand the diversity of super society and holdup, while being readily available and affordable for civilians.

Today, ST is lead by the current faces of industry. Doctors Wayde and Lydia Savage. With the company basically running itself, Wayde and Lydia were able to spearhead their next branch of Savage Tech together. Branded: SAVAGE SOLUS. A private sector of newly developing and highly advanced technology which would not be for the day to day civilian. Proper tech advancement and revolution that would set them apart forever from competitors. With a focus on Super Support Equipment and Weapons Technology, Savage Solus stands is place as Savage Alone. Putting the power and capabilities into individuals, opposed to their societal ambitions of previous branches before this.

Dr Wayde Savage has since been recognized in the world and awarded for his discoveries and advancements in the Super Tech Field. Human augmentation and integration into Super Enabled individuals has been his crowning success. Exhibited by himself, as see in his numerous self augmentations.

Dr Lydia Savage is medically recognized as well. She has furthered medical studies and the understanding and cultivation of Super Genes, which has resulted in the current ages spike of successful and stable births and raising of new super enabled citizens. Additionally, her recently developed and now self-trialed experiment known as the Chrono Gene. Spliced now into her own biology, Lydia has stopped aging and proudly announces that her work will continue forever, so long as she can!
