Your OC At The Threshold
We welcome any fantasy OC that can be tuned to the laws that follow. Old muses are welcome. Half-finished experiments are welcome. Characters exhumed from dead servers are welcome.

What is not permitted:
Direct canon lifts from existing franchises.
Fandom avatars in disguise.
“Secretly that character from that series” under a thin coat of paint.
Modern/scifi
Anything that canonizes earth.
If you are unsure where your idea falls, speak to the staff. We would rather refine a concept than discard a writer.

Verification And Entry
1) How do I verify?
Once joining the discord. Submit any fantasy character sheet in the Verify here channel. No modern, sci-fi or fandom characters. Your OC must be presented in a Google Doc or on another readable platform such as a personal site. We do not care which template you use. We care that it is coherent, legible and complete enough for us to understand who you are bringing in. The character you submit will be playable once approved. You can then make one of the world or explore through their lens.

2) Must I read the lore?
Lore avalanches bury people. We are deliberately lowering the barrier of entry. At first, you will only taste the community and the style of RP. If you decide you belong here, we trust you will begin to nibble at the deeper lore by choice, not under duress. However, if you wish, the links are posted above. So we cater to those who want to learn in RP via the Immigrant/Outlander approach, and those who wish to make an OC more directly of the world.

3) What if my OC does not fit?
Every character is treated as an arrival from elsewhere, emerging either in the realm of the living or the dead. So that's not really possible unless the OC is a broken, overpowered mess or a god.

4) What if I do not have a character sheet?
This is the ideal time to create one. Draft something that reveals how you think and how you write. It does not need ornate formatting. It needs clarity, intention, and enough substance for us to see the person you want to play.

5) Do you care about post length?
We care about density, not bloat. The core culture leans toward novella-length replies. We also accept shorter posts, provided they carry weight and you are willing to read your partners with the same attention you demand for yourself. RP here is collaborative craft, not a word count contest. We prefer meaningful scenes over swollen ones.

6) What are you looking for?
Writers who want to finish stories, not only start them. People who let their characters change under pressure. Partners who build the world through steady effort instead of shortcuts. Authors who prefer flawed, vivid individuals over hollow gimmicks.
