    Within each guest room, nestled atop the pillow as though it were a precious gem instead of a simple folded piece of paper can be found a lovely little printed pamphlet. The front panel is a painterly depiction of the castle and the mountains beyond. Across the top in bold, font are repeated the words on the sign out front.

  • Opening the pamphlet, the first two pages reveals more writing in a simple, elegant font upon a simple blue background with a gold border.

    Welcome one and all to the Farhaven Hotel, a world of comfort and retreat! No doubt you are wondering many things upon your arrival. All your questions, and more, are answered within! If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to address them to our friendly and knowledgeable staff, though be aware, the truest nature of the Hotel and Castle Graciene cannot always be explained or understood. Some things must simply be accepted on faith.

    Where am I?

    Welcome, visitor! You find yourself residing within Castle Graciene! The long lost castle was once the center of power for King Valto Graciene of Querival. Sadly the country and the king have long since faded from history. You now find yourself in the last living relic of a time gone by, renovated and revamped to serve as the finest refuge for those who did not even know they needed one.

    No, seriously, where am I? Like, where is the castle located in the physical world?

    Well, that's the trick. It's not! Farhaven Hotel exists outside of time and space, giving you the safest, most comfortable way to escape the stress and strain of whatever world you have come from. Farhaven employees cannot guarantee the safety of guests who roam beyond the walls of the castle grounds, however. Stay safe and stay comfy!

    Wait. What's outside the castle grounds?

    An excellent question! The mountains surrounding the castle are high and sheer, but it is not just this that keeps this insular world just that. While the castle is protected and secure, there are creatures, both magical and mundane that make the forest their home and may not always appreciate visitors invading their territory. For a more in depth answer, feel free to discuss this matter with our very own Mountain Guardian, Jelica Glitterfur.

    Can I leave?

    Absolutely! No one is a prisoner at the Farhaven Hotel! If at any time you wish to leave, you need only to head out into the woods in the direction you came from and you shall find yourself instantly returned from whence you came. Please note that due to the interdimensional nature of the Hotel, arrival times may vary up to a day, give or take.

    How much is this all going to cost me?

    No money or compensation is required for any guest of the Farhaven Hotel. All amenities are free and all needs shall be met without reservation. You need only sit back, relax and enjoy your time with us.
