Velna thrummed through the halls getting a 'feel' of her environment. After winding through the halls, she stopped before a tall door of dark mahogany trimmed in black so deep it swallowed the light. The knob was a single ruby, heavy and warm to the touch; it glowed faintly as if alive. A pleased thrill curled low in her belly. Of course, she thought. They know.

Unlocking the door, a surge of heat shot up her arm and stirred through her. Velna inhaled sharply, stepped inside and paused, letting the room speak to her. Warm spice and soft sweetness filled the air, with a hint of something reminiscent of stone. She drew in a slow breath, eyes half lidded. Yes. This will do.

The Ruby Room opened wide in reds, blacks, and gold. Furniture sat low and indulgent. Gold trim caught the light like banked embers, while black silks framed the walls and windows, turning the glow rich and flattering. Everything about the space encouraged stillness and closeness, not sleep, nor haste.

Her attention settled on the broad bed draped in velvet and satin with pillows scattered like little clouds. A curved chaise waited nearby, and a low table that held crystal and glass. From just her initial impression, it suited her tastes quite well. That receptionist knew exactly where he was sending her~.

She moved farther in, tail swaying, as her boots melted away into a red, vapor like mist. Velna plopped herself down into the bed with a soft bounce and surveyed her abode, noticing with her demonic vision, seems and small nooks in the walls where light barely permeated from. Hidden compartments? Or... she didn't investigate just yet, but it seemed as though this room was filled with them. It was quite interesting how many of them there were. "They really do seem to know my taste...whoever brought me to this strange land." Velna said to herself, crossing her legs. "This is going to be rather interesting~"
Like all guests, Velna will find that the hotel seems to have anticipated her needs and provided. There are clothes in the wardrobe, toiletries in the bathroom, all that she could need to make her stay at the Farhaven as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Most especially, nestled upon the pillows on her bed she will find a panflet with a wealth of information about the Hotel and its offered amenities. No doubt she will find some way to amuse herself during her time in the castle. And will take care should she chose to venture out side of it.
Velna lingered in the Ruby Room and let its presence settle around her. The space seemed to breathe of its own accord. Reds deepened like stirred embers, and the gold gleamed covetously. Even the air leaned toward her, heavy with spice.

Careful, she thought. Places this welcoming always want something.

Her demonic sight slid beneath silk and stone without effort. Seams revealed themselves to her where none should have existed. Lines too precise traced the walls. Even the low table carried a deliberate hollowness.

Her lips curved slightly upwards, enjoying the anticipation of what was to come. Velna stepped closer towards these hidden compartments. Rather than touch, it seemed to Velna that they reacted to her presence alone. A compartment beneath the headboard sighed open, revealing bottles arranged with care. Oils shimmering faintly with magic. Scents layered for warmth and grounding. Silken restraints waited in another recess.

Velna exhaled slowly. "Was I mistaken? This does not feel like a summoning."

The more Velna pondered this, the more confused she became. She hasn't revealed it to anyone since arriving, but she was suddenly thrown into this world while, well, feasting. All she could remember was indulgence and then...POOF! She was in this realm, staring at a castle.

“Whoever brought me here...must have planned for me,” she said softly, tail swaying as she stared into another compartment. This one held a variety of...MANY plugs in all shapes and sizes. She shook her head, feeling a bit nervous before closing this compartment.

The bathing alcove held its own luxuries. Restorative salts. Cloths that had their own warmth, and fog-proof mirrors. Velna lingered there, just a moment, taking in all the sights and scents. This felt far too surreal.

Dangerous, she thought. To feel understood so quickly. Her gaze returned to the bed. Among the pillows lay a folded pamphlet, placed with care. The cover showed the castle and mountains. Had she missed it earlier? Quickly returning, Velna opened it, eyes moving smoothly over the words.

Farhaven Hotel.
A World of Relaxation Awaits.

Castle Graciene. Outside time and space. Refuge without cost. Free passage. Her attention lingered on what was missing.

No price, she thought. Did this mean the cost has already been paid? What was the payment?

The warnings about the woods barely slowed her. Creatures. Boundaries. The final panel declared the tower forbidden in heavy ink. Velna laughed quietly. Every paradise keeps one locked door.

“Well,” she murmured, reclining into the pillows, pamphlet loose in her hand, “Whoever you are...you certainly know how to make an impression,” she said softly to herself. Her gaze drifted to the shadows, to the faint glow within the walls. She felt watched but not hungrily or possessively.

Observed, she corrected. Like a guest. Interesting indeed. Velna settled deeper into the bed, feeling its soft, luxurious cushion against her own body. "Hmm, I guess for now I rest. I'll find a meal sooner or later." She said to herself before closing her eyes.
