New York - The city that never sleeps. Larger than life itself. Always in motion. Cars cutting through traffic, vendors peddling their wares on street corners, commuters idling by on the subway platforms waiting for the next metro, eyes glued to their handhelds. And then there are the tourists - ever-curious, cameras ready, moving in veritable hoards through the city, cooing starry-eyed at everything - the skylines, museums, bridges, parks, heck even the billboards - as if they might vanish if they blink even once, or let go of their selfie stick.

However, beneath the glitz and glamour lies a city grappling with its own mysteries. In certain pockets of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, there are whispers of people who seem to possess unnatural abilities. A man seen moving faster than human eyes could track. Another bending metal with his bare hands behind a shuttered repair shop. A girl rumored to have walked out of a locked hospital room without touching the door. A woman in Queens who survived a fall from a sixth-floor window, stood up, dusted glass from her coat, and disappeared before the police arrived.

Most people laugh these stories off. Sketchy footage...probably AI generated nonsense. Or just a drunkard hitting the bottle a bit too hard on that night. Basic street magic. Clever camera-work for a viral stunt. New York has always been full of people stretching the bounds of normalcy, and the city as whole isn't fazed easily.

Still, these rumours...these stories of urban myths...keep surfacing.
