Qui'lin are almost always associated with light and beauty, with the divine, noble, and royal. Millennium of stories have told of such brilliantly benevolent creatures, blessing the reign of countless kings and the passing of innumerable scholars. Those blessed to cross paths with such a treasured, timeless entity are always brought heavenly messages of wisdom.

Rarely, does it occur to mortals that, for all of this light to exist, there must be a counterpoint to illuminate against. Thus, creatures of the darkest depths exist to make these illustrious creatures of the Light ever more legendary... there are the shadow workers, the powerful creatures that stay hidden in the Dark, to make the Light ever more piercing.

They too bless those of divine, royal, noble and scholarly heritage, but in different ways. Do not overlook the Power of the Dark. For those that wield the power of Yin are subtle and influential, like the tug of the moon on the tides of the planet. To underestimate the tides is to drown in the undertow when you least expect it. So too is to deliberately live a life out of balance.
