I'll be using my Goblin character Rascal for this!
Facts about Rascal:
•He is 2'8
•He is a bit rude and steals stuff often
•He doesn't care about personal space or property unless someone manages to make him feel bad about it.
•He doesn't bond with others easily unless they're like him, but once he does bond with someone he's very thoughtful of them and also tends to bring stuff back to them like a cat would.
•He mostly walks on all four but occasionally stands on twos.
•He stuffs food and various trinkets in his overalls.
•He's a very grubby goblin but still tries to share his equally grubby items out of kindness.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Industrial revolution
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Romantic themes are possible, but won't pan out. For example: unrequited love.
