Bree

A return years in the making; I have arrived.

Why, hello there. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. If you're reading this, it must mean you're either interested in learning about me or one of my characters. As for me? Well, I'm a young married woman from the Midwestern side of the good ol' USA. I have been a member of this site for six years, with a few breaks in between, but I am no stranger to RPs. The past year or so I've sort of anonymously been around RPing with one invaluable friend- who has done wonders towards helping me vastly improve my writing skills. That being said, I decided to ditch anonymity and return in my full glory. So to anyone who has RPed with me in the past and I suddenly dropped off the face of the earth, I deeply apologize. Things got rough for a long minute there, but I have gotten much better at not overloading myself with RPs and at communicating when I need breaks instead of disappearing. Live and learn, right?

Anyway, what do I look for in an RP partner? I think a better question would be what are you looking for, because I am quite versatile when it comes to RP ideas. I should note some guidelines, though;

*I prefer partners who can give me at least 3 paragraphs per reply. I'm a sucker for details, and I crave the insight into a character's thoughts during a situation- like how you would read during a novel, it's not just dialog and action.

*I prefer partners with good grammar. I'm not going to correct every misspelled word, but for the most part I appreciate a good sentence structure. I don't RP in "text speak"; ur instead of your, etc. This is an epic writing adventure, not a message to your friends, and it should be treated as such, lol.

*When it comes to sensitive or dark subjects, nothing is off limits to me. I am not easily triggered and as I mentioned before I'm a sucker for details, so don't ever worry about being too graphic with me. That includes swear words too; I don't have much of a filter myself, and neither do my characters, so let the F bombs fly if you're inclined to do so. I am fine either way.

*When it comes to sexual content, I will admit I am not comfortable with acting out smut or love scenes. I have no problem discussing the matter between characters, but when it comes to acting out the scenes, I only do fade to black.

Oh, and one more thing about me. I am a full time retail team supervisor with a very stressful job role and an awkward schedule, so my reply frequency is kind of hit and miss. But I strive to reply at least once a day depending on the reply length, but I never go more than two or three days without some form of communication. I would just appreciate some patience and understanding on your part, please. Real life comes first, so I may need a few days without writing here and there.

Anyway, now that the personal stuff is out of the way, back to the good stuff; my characters. As of now, Gerald and James are my most developed characters and honestly I consider them my finest creations. Ben and Iris have not been used at all, so their profiles are very bare bones. But, even with my developed characters, there's a reason there's only a few paragraphs describing them. I feel it adds to the interest and realism of an RP when you learn about a character as you're writing the story. After all, if you met me for the first time in real life, would you have a piece of paper that had every detail about my life for you to learn at a glance? No. So why should characters be any different? That's half the fun in my opinion, learning the secrets and intricacies about a character in due time rather than all up front. One thing I can guarantee though; there is a lot more to my characters than what meets the eye, trust me. Is your curiosity piqued? Are you interested in a drama filled, heading turning, plot twist extravaganza story that you won't soon forget? Then you've come to the right woman, my friend. I look forward to writing with you. ;)

Rave Reviews

Brew has always been a great person to play with. I always anticipate the next idea and normally it ends with yet ANOTHER plot twist. Like seriously. Our characters Shinoda and Xilo have started off being best friends...and then suddenly they are actually half brothers! I don't know how most of this happens, but it would make a great movie. Good job! - TurtleBoss
Bree is an amazing rper. She has great grammar, so there isn't a time when you're confused by sentence structure. Currently, I'm rping with Tai, and there is more to him than meets the eye, which I think is amazing in an rp. I enjoy seeing how Tai will respond to certain events, and I'm looking forward to continuing this rp. If we grow bored, I'll look forward to doing another rp if she'll let me :) - ilovedogs260
