You can call me Doom. I've been writing for many moons (about fifteen years to be exact). Somehow, I have a habit of coming off as a jerk... I'm really not. I'm actually quite easy to get along with. I would say I am pretty advanced as far as writing goes. I'm not saying that to make myself look good, simply to give you an idea of what a story with me would require. I do multi-para and up, and I also write in third person and never anything under three paragraphs minimum (there are exceptions to this. Heavy dialogue, very active scenes or even if you're simply having a bad day). If you typically write one paragraph in first person, though, we probably aren't a good fit. No hard feelings, we can still be friends.
Speaking of friends, my OOC communication isn't great. There's a couple of reasons for that. Mostly, I dislike drama, and I find if you simply don't communicate you stay out of it completely. Secondly, while I am approachable and friendly, I'm here to write epic stories. Roleplaying is one of my favorite hobbies. I absolutely will never turn down a conversation OOC about a plotline, story discussion or even details about our story even once we've started it. I am more than happy to chat along the way about the story and/or it's development. However, I don't want to talk about personal lives, where I live, my real name, phone number etc. I know some people are into making great friends online, but that just isn't me. I am a very private person in general. That being said I never would want to discourage someone from contacting me for a story because they are afraid of the OOC communication. It is not like I'm going to ignore you, I just don't want to talk about your favorite restaurant and exchange phone numbers... if that makes sense.
I always welcome OOC communication for writing needs. Roleplay discussion, if you or I are going to be away for a bit, new ideas for our story, questions about my characters or something I said/did in the story. All of that is actually encouraged.
Current Status:
10/11/19: Working on replies, some of which are way overdue. I apologize... my life has been quite busy as of late. I have not forgotten about you all, though.

I can truly be a lot of fun, for certain writers. I am generally approachable, even if it might seem I am a bit of a stickler for rules. If you are stuck on something, unsure of something, or have questions about any of my characters/writing you merely need to ask. My bark is usually worse than my bite.

1.) I do not write with anyone under the real-life age of 18. I am far and well a grown adult in real life, and many of my characters have violence/sex/dark themes.
*I also do not fade to black during ANY scenes in a story, including sexual interactions. I write out every gritty detail. If that bothers you please avoid a story with me.
2.) NO OOC DRAMA. EVER. As mentioned, I'm an adult. It's been many moons since I've been in High School, and I don't want the drama on my plate. Now IC drama can be fun (and beneficial to a story). That is fine and dandy.
3.) I have a very busy life, and writing is my hobby not my job. This means that sometimes my replies take a while to get to. I try to reply within a week time-frame as I am pretty picky about super delayed responses myself- be warned this isn't always feasible though.
4.) I really prefer OOC discussion to be on discord or even skype. Although, discord has been my main form of OOC communication lately. I like my inbox uncluttered, keeping OOC and storyline discussions out of it is beneficial to my mental health.

Doom is pretty darn fantabulous. His craft of writing will keep you entertained, and immersed, as his characters are simply lovely. Truth be told, Doom is a stupendous person that is easy going, and willing to laugh with you through the night over nothing at all. They are a true gem. However, I must warn you that Doom is like a 5 star restaurant; really great everything but a long wait for a reservation, or in rp terms, a reply. I can assure you though, they are always worth the wait.

With time passing ever so quickly and yet painfully slow between each post, as does most things in life, I find myself jumping onto my laptop regardless of the time or where I am to respond to Dooms posts. Their blunt and realistic manner of writing a character paired with their entertaining and witty way with words captures my attention fully. I look forward to each and every post I get. I cannot wait to see where our RP goes and I'm sure I will continue to find myself delighted!
