I've been doing this RP thing for some 8 years or so, maybe even more but I am not picky. Still, I don't consider it a merit as I find myself surrounded by more amazing RP'ers than I am, forcing me to do my best effort as well. Not a bad thing at all!
I mostly look for RP scenes where each character has their chance to grow, forge alliances and declare enemies. A conflict or a tricky encounter is a livelihood of keeping a group alive and I do look to bring these about when an opportunity raises for my chars.
Which is why majority of my characters are the kind that can never be truly classified as heros or evildoers, they do what they think is right or the correct way. Sometimes that doesn't correlate with rest of population!
