I am looking for older writers (30s and up) such as myself. I am in my early 40s.
I have no gender preferences in my partner but I do have an orientation preference of straight. As I like elements of romance in my tales, I know I cannot do other orientations justice and they don't personally delight me. Please do not assume any phobias. I simply write better with someone who is like-minded in the broad sense.
I desire a partner who is good at balancing when it is best to write long detailed posts and when briefer posts are needed to keep a story moving. Opening scenes, changes of mood, changes to a scene are all good reason to be detailed. (3 or more paragraphs)
I get frustrated with long winded dialogue posts. I prefer my conversations to flow. (juicy 1 or 2 paragraphs)
I am happily married. Writing is not about finding someone in RL to click with romantically. However, I love knowing my partner might have to fan them themselves, or squirm in delight, or even cry. I love having a partner who is tickled to do the same for me.
We all typo and I am hardly a grammar nazi. Having said that, run on sentences make me CRAZY! I want a partner who has good rhythm in their style.
I prefer character and story driven plots. Any intimate scenes must move the story forward, and I prefer FTB for anything beyond kissing.
Lastly, I am extremely busy. I will not be engaging in many stories. I will have at most 3 that I work on. I would prefer a partner who doesn't seek out new tales to be responsible for every time they might feel a little bored or impatient.

On a more serious note, it has been utterly lovely to connect with somebody who cackles with glee just as much as I do as our characters squirm and flail. I look forward to each and every post, and I have a feeling I'm not going to get bored any time soon!

Inkwren is an extremely talented writer. She also knows all kinds of cool things--things like how to create an insignia for a fictional organization, creating badges, how to use face claims to magically put a character in uniform--lots of stuff. She can create posts that keep the plot moving while making you laugh and pulling on your heartstrings. Also good OOC communication and coordination. Easy to work with. A good RP partner.
