✠ About Me ✠
- I have 20 years of RP experience to my name. Yep, that's right. This here nerd has been a part of the roleplaying community since his freshman in high school.
- My reply lengths vary. I don't often write novella-length replies, but I'm capable of doing so if I feel its necessary. In my opinion, trying to reply to multiple parts of a singular, super long post can get tedious and interferes with the story flow. Generally speaking, I prefer a happy medium. You can expect 2-3 thorough paragraphs on average.
- Due to the adult/dark/erotic/mature themes I tend to explore in my writing, I'll only RP with players that are 20+ years of age and characters that are at least 18+ years of age. In addition to that, I do not fade-to-black for erotic scenes.
- My characters are not meant to be exclusive to any one story or character. That means they will likely have multiple romances across different RPs. Occasionally, I'll list/link a romantic partner in my OC's profile, but this doesn't mean my OC belongs exclusively to that story and/or character. It simply means the RP with that partner's character holds a special place in my heart and/or is a significant part of my OC's life/backstory.
- I have an amazing wife and 3 fantastic kiddos, so between my domestic and life responsibilities there are times I may disappear for a while. I try to my best to keep my partners updated during such absences, but sometimes things get a little crazy and it falls by the wayside. However, I always come back eventually. If this happens, please don't take it to heart. I promise it's nothing personal. In addition, I won't take offense should an unexpected absence befall a fellow RP partner. Life happens and it should always come first.
- On that subject, if I'm no longer interested in an RP I'll communicate that to you. So if I haven't responded to an RP in months, and you haven't heard from me OOC or via a status update on my profile, I encourage you to reach out and touch base. I'm only human, and sometimes that means I simply get distracted and forget.
- In general, I prefer working with partners who are patient, friendly, and actively engage in OOC collaboration/plot discussion. Communication is key. Roleplaying is a team effort and I'd like to feel like the investment goes both ways. Also, it's just great to have friendly folks to chat with.
- I only roleplay here on RPR via a private group. I no longer RP via PM/DM, and I don't have a Discord. As such, if we decide to embark on a creative journey together, I'm always happy to do the leg-work of creating the group for us to write in. Please don't ask me to deviate from this preference, as it's the most comfortable arrangement for me. I would like to note, this does not mean I won't have OOC discussions via PM/DM. Quite the opposite, as I'm always happy to chat OOC. But all IC interactions will take place within a private group.
- If you have any questions, suggestions, or interest in a character of mine, feel free to drop me a DM anytime.
