~ I am Aine on the NV Discord group.

~I have been role playing for over a decade, roughly 20 years give or take.

~Around somewhere between 2000-2002ish I began playing on a game called Furcadia and...never really left.

~I am happily married and also have one spawn from our union, so my days and times can be unpredictable. My family and personal life will always come first.

~I prefer to rp with adults, and adult characters due to the level of gore, violence, and other similar material that may, or may not come up. Please respect my choice.

~Most of my current characters are made to be played in a specific strict continuity, please don't take offence if I refuse to rp because of this.

~I am a fan of Supernatural, Grimm, Sleepy Hollow, and Haven. Almost anything that has neat creatures like Fae, Vamps, Demons, magic, oddities, death. I also have the usual girly romantic side and am a sucker for Hallmark movies (majority during Christmas time though.) Currently I have been slowly delving into Dr.Who and GoT.

~Some of my favorite movies are: The Crow, The Princess Bride, Jaws (All), SuperTroopers, Beerfest, Legend, Jurassic Park (All), Half Baked, Lady Hawke, Men In Black. I'll stop now. lol

~Book wise, I am a fan of Patrick Rothfuss, Patricia Briggs, Poe, Shakespeare, Ovid, Dickens, Bronte, Lackey. There's quite a few more but I'm trying to keep these as short little pockets of information. lol

~Musically I am eclectic. Rock of one form or another from Classic and Oldies to Alternative. A little metal, jazz, classical, foreign, relaxing/meditative, country, really at least a handful of songs from most genre's.

~I don't like showing my complete character listing. I know, I'm odd. I just like having a quiet character or two at times to relax on and do just one-off rp's.

~In game on Furcadia, or even on here I am message/whisper friendly. The thing is, I don't always know what to talk about with new people so there may be awkward silences. I am a little on the shy side so it can take me a few days to message someone myself but I usually find some way or another to show my interest in a character.
The downside of me, I can sometimes be blunt, sarcastic, or ditzy (as much as I hate to admit that one lol) and am opinionated but do my best not to be cruel or hurtful to anyone. I ramble at times and can flip back and forth on topics as well as have 'blonde' moments.

~Sadly I am a run-on/comma fan at times. I do try to curb this and improve my written English. Just don't get too upset if you're a Grammar teacher or something. It's just never been my strong point. Generally otherwise my spelling and punctuation haven't gained many complaints.

~I like to include a bit of factual information to my characters, and sometimes uses referencing to help explain some aspects. For example, one of my vampire characters I base a bit off of "Vampire the Masquerade." I love their information and it helps me create a more solid frame I think.
I also research a good bit. If my character is a healer or such? You bet I'm checking time-frame tools, techniques, local plants that may be in the area, etc. If a cook, common meals for that region and so forth.

~I Generally para-rp. For some I try to shorten posts but more often than not you'll have a paragraph to two... Sometimes 3-4 if I'm on a roll but I refrain from doing this in group as best I can.

~I tend to play modern characters as of the past...going on three years.
