I can't say I have much "experience" with text roleplaying, I've roleplayed for nearly 5 years on and off but I do it online purely for fun.
I'm not a strict roleplayer, I'm more relaxed about how much I post and I only write as much as I need (a few lines to a paragraph at the most) since I find that it's more flexible and moves the pace of a roleplay along a little faster. I don't mind how much a partner would post, but multi-para roleplay is a bit much. I do require other people who want to roleplay with me to have good grammar and spelling, after all, I need to understand what's going on.
The places I roleplay in currently is Furcadia and iScribble (My username on iScribble is FuegoZorro, leave a whisper there if you want to RP).
