Hi there, you can call me Lys!
I've been roleplaying for a few years now, so I consider myself to be a pretty avid writer. I stumbled upon this gem of a site while researching for a novel I'm writing. I'm still working on adding my characters, so there are still more to come later on, and the characters that already exist will have further detailing on their profiles as time goes by. My memory is awful, so I'm often editing characters because I remembered a detail or two.
About me
I'm a sucker for Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, How to Train Your Dragon, The Lunar Chronicles, The Princess Bride, and many other fantasy franchises. Pirates are awesome, in my personal opinion. Mermaids? Heck yeah. Princesses? Please. Dragons? Don't even bring them up, or I'll never shut up about their magnificence.
As for my interests in reality (a word that I highly dislike): I like indie rock and alternative music, and my hobbies include writing, drawing, succulent care, and pin collecting. I love dogs, ferrets, and horses. My pet/adventure companion is a long-haired chihuahua known as Heidi.

RP Rules & Notes
Any mature adult scenes will not be written out. If anything like that should occur in the RP, then it will "fade to black".
Supernatural and demonic scenes make me uncomfortable, so please don't bring up those things or anything similar in the RP, including OOC chat. I'm totally chill with magic being present, however.
I prefer long term roleplays, so if you plan on a short-term roleplay then I would like it if you would let me know before we begin the RP.
I always write in the literate form (1-2 or more paragraphs) but I am a little flexible. I don't really enjoy script-style writing for an RP, but I may be willing to bend the rules if the plot and characters are interesting enough.

Depending on the positioning of our characters, I might add in a (very rare) "bonus scene." This would only occur if our characters are separated for a short period of time, and my character is only around another one of my side-characters. It would give you an idea of where my character is and what they're doing, but only if it's relevant to the RP. Of course I wouldn't leave you and your character to just meander, should this happen. The only time my character(s) would be "off-screen" would be if there was another one of my side-characters to fill in. If you're curious about it, then please don't hesitate to ask me in OOC.
When I say that I don't mind something, or mention that "it's just a suggestion", I really mean it. I do my best to be as honest as possible. If something in our RP or OOC chat is bothering me, then I will tell you, and you can tell me. There's no need to worry about that kind of stuff with me.
I have a busy schedule, so my hours and consistency may be odd at times. Please keep in mind that roleplaying is only something that I do in my free time.

TetriLys is a great roleplayer! It hasn't been very long that I've been RPing with her, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. Her responses are quick, but she's super understanding if I'm busy and can't get a post back right away. Her vocabulary is great, her descriptions wonderful, and her characters are deep and well-thought-out! This is one awesome woman, and I get excited every time I see I have a post from her!

She's so amazing! We started our rp not long ago, but her posts are ON POINT. Her characters are so well-thought out that it's a delight to read their profiles. And that totally translates to the rp. She's very good at bringing those characters to life and I love interacting with them!
