Hey guys! My name is Meg!
I have been RPing since 2000, though I have taken some very long breaks in between. I have tried out many different types, from the old days of chat rooms, to forums, to journals. Each have their own appeal, and my styles have adapted accordingly over the years.
I don't have a strict limit on the length or rate of posts for an RP. These things tend to happen naturally, but if you have any concerns that you'd like to bring up, just let me know. The most important thing to me is communication. If we're not talking about a problem, it's not going to get fixed.
In the past I've primarily focused on fantasy/medieval era RP, though I have more recently been expanding into sci-fi/futuristic styles. Why stick to a world when there's an entire universe to explore? I'm open to new ideas and times. My focus at the moment is on plot-driven, campaign style RP. I enjoy adventure, mystery, a bit of horror, and a good ol' fashioned love story. And what's an RP without a whole bunch of (IC!) drama?
With that in mind, I've also built an entire world for a fantasy-friendly RP. For the moment I use it primarily for my own stories and campaigns, though this may expand in the future. If you would like to find out more or are interested in exploring the world of Aladora, let me know!
I currently reside in the UK, which means my timezone is not always ideal. I also travel often. My schedule can get hectic at times and my availability may change if I am spending time abroad, but rest assured if we are steadily RPing I will do my best to keep you in the loop. Communication is key, and I will do what I can to work with life's unpredictability.
And as for beyond the RP? I love to travel. I have been to four countries already this year alone, with more trips to come. When I do get the opportunity to spend more time at home, I enjoy reading and games. I have run Pathfinder campaigns and go out whenever I can for board game nights. I'm also a bit of a math and science geek, and I am try to find time to work on languages on the side. I love to run, and I am learning to play the piano.

IC/OOC: This one should be obvious: keep the two separate. Just because my character doesn't like you, doesn't mean that I feel the same way. I am generally friendly, but I equally do not want to know your drama. Let's just have fun okay? It's also important to note that I do not RP with anyone under 18. Sorry guys, nothing personal!
Communicate: Interested in RP? Not liking the way things are going? Want to make some changes or just don't understand? Let me know. We might not always be able to come to a perfect solution, but you'll never know if you don't ask.
Content: I'm not looking for one-off sex-romp RPs. I'm interested in developing and challenging characters, exploring interesting interactions, and generally building good stories. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to explore sexual or dark themes, but I prefer it to be part of something larger. If that's not your cup of tea, that's fine. I know I'm not for everyone!
Consent: I generally my characters with a no-consent rule. However, any major changes up to and including death I will allow only in a longer RP setting. If you want to create a significant change to the character, then you need to put a little effort in!
