Hello, I'm Frick. I'm from the US. I'm in a phd program for Russian language & lit. I've been craving just talking to strangers, so don't be shy.
RP&me
I roleplay for the philosophical and imaginative aspect. I don't write sex, I'm not very interested in violence (except a little where it serves the plot), and I don't get very technical (for example with history & sci-fi.) In a nutshell I like to stick to realism or more realistic shades of fantasy and sci-fi... i.e. I like Harry Potter kinds of fantasy but am not interested in The Lord of the Rings; and I love Star Trek (TNG) but I don't really care about how the ships operate(holodeck, transporters etc). I play humans or humanoids; I'd be happy to play other things but it'd be a side character for a specific purpose, not my mains

Books: East of Eden, A Clockwork Orange, lots of Dostoevsky and Chekhov, Master and Margarita, Frankenstein, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, + poetry and short stories in general...
Anime: FLCL and Fullmetal Alchemist
Other cartoons: Steven Universe, Over the Garden Wall
Video Games: Portal, Half-Life, Jak series, Kingdom Hearts (cringe, but it was my childhood), Sly Cooper, POKEMON~, Kya Dark Lineage (unsung hero of PS2)
TV shows: The Office, Star Trek TNG
Important things: I try to give as much attention, time, and money as I can afford to social issues I care about, which are generally those concerning equality, justice, well-being, and dignity. I also REALLY LIKE TEA, and my cat.
