my au
fae, basically.
the fundamental premise is that gods exist, and they call themselves fae. they can be "seelie" or "unseelie." they choose either at a certain age. intermingling between the two groups, or courts, is frowned upon morally and illegal but also really common. fae exist in multiple realms, which can be thought of as dimensions. many stay in their respective courts, but most feed on properties of the mortal realms and so visit frequently.

i fixate on character depth, development, psychology. i find rp, oc & world creation entertaining when i can make fantastical elements believable.
i love high magic fantasy. i don't have a purely human character.
as a disclaimer, all of them have flaws and inconsistencies, and some are worse than others. writing a character's moral ambiguity is not me endorsing the behavior.

i promise i actually use grammar when i'm actually writing! i just like to chill otherwise.
my post length varies wildly. i don't believe in always sending a book to people, even if i can, because length does not equal quality. setting a scene is nice, but for example, dialogue between two people who don't know each other is short, and not a lot happens in it while they're waiting for the other person to say something. i think it's most enjoyable to have interactions feel genuine between characters, and prefer this be reflected.
my response time is not usually immediate. i tend to send one every other week or so absolute bare minimum, but sometimes i'll respond very quickly until i go to bed that day. if i don't plan on continuing things, i definitely will let you know; basically, if i'm not responding, you don't have to worry that i won't. i'm not the type to ghost.

Andi, for better or for worse, drives me insane. With their writing ability, their jargon, their useless facts, Andi creates endless possibilities and in my opinion, does not have enough kudos. Sure, all their characters to an extent are asshats, but it creates juicy drama, and Andi gives them such depth with inner soliloquies, divulging thought process, and describing actions to an extent that surpasses your average writer. Never a dull moment.

The rp we currently have going is rather enjoyable. Swiftly has interesting characters that have even more interesting personalities. He always makes each post very in depth and thought provoking. His characters are played very well and I am always eager to see how Logan reacts to what my character does. Definitely deserves more kudos!
