hi there! i'm meadow, or abby if you prefer, a thirty-something who has been rping since the ripe age of twelve. i've taken breaks here and there, but always return as creativity waxes. i tend to type very informally when chatting, but promise i know how to compose a proper sentence. i have a BA in english, something that is perhaps only impressive in a community akin to this and maybe not even then 😅 i like writing, art, video games, horror (television, movies, books: you name it), music, animals, etc, etc.
past experiences have left me with a low tolerance for unwanted drama (drama within a roleplay is just chefs kiss, but in my day-to-day life, not so much!). i'm here to enjoy myself and have fun, and won't let any negativity interfere with that; i hope you can understand.
despite the way that sounded, i'm very friendly and easy-going and will talk to just about anyone! i'm more of the quality-over-quantity type when it comes to my close circle and i love them very dearly (you know who you are
).
things i like to rp
when it comes to rp (which is why we're all here!) i tend to prefer modern settings over anything else, with a splash of the supernatural/low fantasy. that's my jam. i'm also just as into modern, mundane, slice-of-life stuff, too! the human condition is fascinating enough to me without dressing it up too much. i don't need roleplay that feels fancy or over-the-top, i just want it to feel authentic.
unfortunately i will not roleplay with anyone under the age of 18, and even those under 21 i may decline. it's not anything personal, just a precaution. but let's be honest, if you're under 18, i kinda doubt you want to rp with me, either! 😂

Abby, abby, abbula. While Abby doesn't frequent the many roleplay communities I'm in, nor maintain activity here on rpr, she's still someone I hangout with almost daily! Spending time with Abby has been so refreshing, so fulfilling, and my nights are brighter with her in them. I really appreciate her for all her gifts and all her kindness, her creative mind and playful demeanor. She's a treat, a treasure, someone I'm grateful to have always in my corner and forever a friend. 🖤
