Hey, my name is Socks! Odd name I know, I picked it out myself! I'm 21, and I've been in the roleplaying business since I was 13! 9 years of experience typically isn't anything to scoff at on a normal resume, so i hope that carries over here.
I am very fond of fantasy and Sci-fi settings, doubly so if the two are intertwined! Modern settings arent too bad, so long as there's a splash of fantasy elements somewhere there too. I do have to advise that I am a furry, so i do not typically play human/humanoid characters, but I'm well known for being adaptive to the setting if need be! Adaptation and Improv are the names of the game here after all. I can't wait for the adventures that lay beyond the horizon, and I hope that you may be a part of it too!

-I write one paragraph at LEAST, very often many moreI'm rather adaptable to word length and diction
-I often use anthro characters, sorry! I'm more than willing to make human counterparts for any character I create
-don't worry about me pestering you for a reply, I get things are rough sometimes!
-I can be chatty OOC, so i hope you don't mind making a friend too!
-I don't require that you have your characters profiled here, just as long as you can tell me about them when we talk.
-I very RARELY rp straight canon, with the exception of Moomin/MoominValley, where I roleplay as Sniff (I'm probably the only Sniff/Nipsu muse you will ever meet) and Snufkin, if I must.

Writing Examples!
-Joseph had no qualms with the the silence between them as they walked, assuming that his friend was just enjoying the cool autumn breeze rather than having an entire existential crisis based around befriending a priest who could talk to ghosts and may or may not actually know what the rabbi actually was. This little jaunt of theirs led the duo into the heart of the woods, the wind carrying the distorted toll of the priest's own church bells. For most this ring was just a turn of the hour bell, but for Joseph, this may very be his final knell.
"We are here, in the rumored-to-be-haunted forest! Oh, I want to show you something...!" The excitable man ran over to a very old looking tree and hopped up onto a log near it, using it as a step to reach into a hollow knot in the tree since he was just a bit too short to reach it otherwise. From the tree he procured a wooden box with a small lock to which he had the key. He opened it and pulled out a very old looking journal and a pair of binoculars.
"This is where I do most of my bird spotting, and this is what I document them in! Take a look!" He quickly thrusted the notebook into the rabbi's hands with the enthusiasm of a puppy.
"We are here, in the rumored-to-be-haunted forest! Oh, I want to show you something...!" -Despite Hillel's perceived awkwardness, the sheep had yet to openly express any form of malcontent with his apparently new community member. He seemed to actually be drinking his coffee black, something that the lizard could not even fathom being enjoyable in any capacity. Regardless, he held his happy demeanor and looked rather comfortable in this situation.
"Oh, It's rather rare that I leave my town at all, but my good friend Blathers actually told me of this one city where multiple fake paintings were being identified!" He looked rather excited over what should probably be something rather detrimental to actual art collectors, maybe a cause for slight concern.
"See the thing is, if you find yourself in possession of a forged painting that you paid for, what good is it now? It might as well just be garbage... Unless you know me! I usually take in forged paintings to decorate my library with, for what is a forgery but just imitation of beauty? Sure, it may have been crafted with less than honorable intent, but it is still dedication! each brush stroke, each bump of the canvas, all hours of work! They still have some value in existing...!" Beau seemed to blather on about the beauty of imitation, and admittedly, the idea wasn't so bad.
"Aside from this though, I can't say I get out often. With online shipping and stuff, we never have to go out and buy books! they just get dropped off for us! Ever since my assistant showed me how to do that, I don't think I've left the town once! Isn't that just neat?" The sheep seemed rather enthralled with the basic capabilities of the internet, leading Hillel to question how old the man in front of him really was.
