  "Yes momma," his breath brought forth eager words and his eyes showed anticipation for future expression.
  
  "You have a baby brother on the way."
  
  These simple words brought great joy to the 7 year old whose bizarre social tendencies netted him a total lack of friends. Perhaps for once in his life somebody would look to him with hope and pride as opposed to the curious glare you give a freak show oddity.
  
  It was after he had gained this magical knowledge that Kai knew he needn't friends whose visions of him were disrespectful to say the least. He would have the greatest friendship a human could experience, that of two boys growing as family.

  Kai is a quiet person who is often absorbed into his academics. While not shy, he certainly isn't the most socially inclined individual. Kai has many friends, however he does not spend a lot of time with them. His free time is usually filled with reading books, watching fish, or taking long walks outdoors when he isn't spending time with his dear sister.
