Muscular and intimidating, if Eddie scrubbed up he'd make an effective bouncer. As it is, he has a general grizzled, tatty appearance. His greying hair is tousled and uncombed, his clothing rumpled and shabby. He's most often unshaven, sporting a substantial amount of stubble. His eyes are a rich honey colour and resemble those of a wolf more than a man. His jaw line is chiselled, his nose crooked and his lips thin.
His prematurely lined face shows signs of a life led with more than a fair share of fights. A long jagged scar runs across the right side of his face, from temple to cheek. Various nicks and cuts cover his arms and torso. The scar left from a gunshot wound is visible near his left shoulder, a stab wound at his lower back.
His hands and feet are ever so slightly webbed, though it's something that few notice unless they're looking for it.
Tattoos: A Celtic cross on his right shoulder
Clothing: Eddie dresses scruffily, his battered old suit never ironed or pressed. His clients are lucky to see him in a tie to be honest. He seldom wears shoes (they cause complications when shifting) and is often seen in a pair of Aviator sunglasses which conceal the heavy bags under his wolfish eyes.
Of course Eddie owns a Trench coat, it's standard PI issue after all. It's old, battered and dark brown in colour
Jewellery: A simple silver (yes silver) crucifix. Eddie grew up Catholic.

In Were form, Eddie doesn't really look much like a wolf as such. Werewolf is a bit of a misnomer, what he becomes is more a canine-like beast.
Massive, twisted and mangy, he has no tail, a hunched back and a broad muzzle. His fur is patchy, brown and ticked with white. He stands around 34 inches at the shoulder, 6'5" nose to tail.
His jaw is adapted to crush bone, much more like a hyena than the common wolf. Also, much more like a Hyena, his "wolf" form sports a sparse mane along the back of his neck and down his spine.
His eyes remain golden and his markings resemble that of a black faced timber wolf. His paws are large, digigrade and slightly webbed.
This creature isn't a wolf, it's a Lyall, a mythological protector beast. Whether the family were named for the beast or the beast named for them, nobody's totally sure, but Lyalls have been protectors of their family and villages for thousands of years. Least they were, before the coming of Christianity and the shunning of the "old ways".
