• Finding His Place

  

  Life seems like one big happy ride for Luke Nylund. He's known for being the practical joker of the group. Situations when he can't use his humor make him uncomfortable. It's not easy for him restrain his comedic nature. If he sees something funny, he'll probably point it out. Sometimes the time just isn't appropriate. This only makes it more 'edgy', in his mind.
  
  Luke tends to procrastinate. This can affect his school, work and relationships. He's usually charming enough to make up for it. He often knuckles down to hastily make up for missed time. Luke is fairly intelligent and knows how to make the most out of every situation. The college freshman really enjoys his work study job with his major's department.
  
  Many of Luke's friends see him as a beach bum. He comes off as a modern surfer type, seeming to be on the coast every weekend. Luke is really into music, especially his favorite bands. His greatest interest would of course be flirtation. It is common for him to 'bite off more than he can chew' because he is still figuring women out. The teen is quite naive and gullible when it comes to them.

• His Story

  Luke was born to Maria and Timothy Nylund. Tim was a doctor and Maria was a tailor. He had a brother five years his senior, Viktor. When their parents were divorced, Viktor went to live with his mother overseas. Luke stayed with his father and a stepmother.
  
  His father's career paid well. Luke still worked a part time job to earn some money of his own. It only worked out because his boss let him slack off. He played a few sports in high school, but wasn't good enough to be considered for college sports.
  
  Luke has only had a few relationships with women. He's fairly naïve in that area, but seems to gain enough interest to make up for that. He's always been confident, just clueless.
  
  He's currently in his freshman year of college. He's hoping to get by and find his way through the school year. The party scene is really starting to distract him more and more. Life outside of classes is tempting him more and more.
  
  His brother is now Viktor 'Brash' Nylund, a professional rock star. Although the band has taken off, Luke isn't associated much with his brother. The two almost never see each other. Brash always sends his brother lots of money and expensive gifts.
