• Description

  The Chancellor, like the rest of his race, bear a striking resemblance to an Order of animalia known as Araneae: Spiders, though over-sized and sporting a number of differences that allow them to survive with larger brains and an up-scaled body mass. Archway in particular belongs to a family who's given him a silver carapace horizontally streaked with vibrant yellow and black from abdomen to legs. The cephalothorax, or what could be called the head area, is silver dotted with eight black eyes. Spines run along his seven legs, acting as sensitive, sticky fingers. He is usually adorned in the mute silver silks of his uniform, which drapes over the abdomen. A lengthy cape of silk runs from the mid section to end, bearing the coat of arms of the major and minor families a part of the Stabilimentum.
  
  When Sekai had first arrived to their local star system, this "Stabilimentum" was on the brink of total collapse. Several rivals were converging on the Arans' home planet, so when his deal was offered, the Chancellor gladly accepted. The exodus was a saving grace, with only the paranoid, optimistic, and plain unlucky left behind. Sad, to abandon one's home. Yet, it's never too late to rebuild.

  So basically, I'll be going for the super gross giant spider trope seen so much in B-tier sci-fi movies and taking it as far as I can without being too serious about making it realistic. They're giant space spiders. I'll be taking inspiration from real-life spiders, but will not adhere one-to-one on facts. I'll do my best, but I'm no biologist. Mostly just going to have fun grossing the GM out.
