Appearance: Usually wears laid back clothes, with slits in the back for his wings. He always has very messy short hair that spikes forward and he’s tall and skinny. 6 feet tall with uniquely shaded red-brown or pinkish eyes.
Personality: Obnoxious, outgoing, friendly, innocent, energetic, a people pleaser, caring, and impatient. He sometimes blurts out his thoughts while someone else is talking, if they take too long.
He’s always trying to make new friends, despite having loads and loads of internal self-doubt and insecurities. He does his absolute best to always be a bright, happy guy, but sometimes his hidden feelings just stop being hidden due to an overload, and then his overloading emotions control him. This can lead to a “DS” (AKA Depression Session) or a mental breakdown of varying levels. During this time, all he can think about is reasons to hate himself, or hate his choices. And all he can physically do during this is cry. He often needs another kind soul to talk to him in order to get him out of this “DS” because he’s often just too overrun with sad thoughts to get himself out of his “DS”. If nobody can help, eventually he’ll go into a depressed and moreso blank and feeling-useless state and go about his day, ignoring people and only doing what he must do to make it through the day.

Background: Orphaned as a child and soon adopted by loving parents. His blood parents are pro heroes who put him up for adoption for his own safety. Once he figured this out, he hated them, and wanted nothing to do with them, wishing he could forget.

Quirk Name: Mantis
Quirk Abilities: His left-arm is a mantis arm, and has a tough green insect carapace covering his upper body, which is about as strong as ironwood. Kantaro can fly with his large insect wings he has on his back, and his reflex speeds are incredibly quick. Kantaro is also fast in general (such as when talking, running, or walking), and has a craving for bugs. (For reference, 80 mph is top sprint speed, and mantis arm can strike in .3 seconds. Real mantises can strike in .05-.07 seconds, which is faster than blinking. I made it less broken by lowering the speed of his strike.) The mantis claw is as sharp as an average sharpness knife. Not sharp enough to cut through paper like butter.
Quirk Drawbacks: The user's wings are fragile. Light damage to the wings would basically make a scab of sorts, and probably heal in an hour or two. Moderate damage take be more like 10 hours, and heavy damage would be a day. If they are completely removed, multiple days or even a week are expected for the wings to regrow. When carrying other people or heavy things while flying, it can put a strain on the wings. If the carapace gets cracked, it will fall off around the break, and leave a weak point open. It will take multiple days for the carapace to fully regrow any missing pieces.
