Our Story

  • ~*~ Curse and Fate ~*~

    All we ever wanted.... Is to live a simple life.



    To have been born with the curse of our race would ever be troublesome down the road. But to have been born under heavy superstition? Such is fate to deny us what we seek. Forever to change however we were originally meant to be.



    Did you know? It's rather very rare for there to be two young ones born from the same egg for Birds or Reptiles. It doesn't matter, usually only one or both don't ever end up surviving for long anyways. And if they do then chances are you're thinking more about the Humans rather than us. Would living comfortably in a home safe from harm's way or would growing up quickly on pure survival and instinct on a daily basis be the course one needs in order to live longer work? Who knows... But maybe. Just maybe... We can still try.

    And yet somewhere down the line, somebody got paranoid enough to think that if two were born together from the same egg than that is considered a -bad sign-. An "ill omen" as others call it. That it'll bring about misfortune, bad luck, disasterus events and every other sort listed towards such phanomena.

    Well... We can not 100% put blame to our parents. They did, despite such knowledge, try what they could to raise us to an extent. Until it just became too much for them I suppose. So they abandoned us out onto the cold, cruel streets of a world unknown. Too scared to ever let us return. Too afraid to face such reality that deep down they let such paranoia cloud their judgement enough to toss away their own children.

    At first it was only going to be one of us, Shadey, the other our parents were way more than happy to still keep. Almost as if they thought it could get rid of the curse if you took out what you thought was the root of the problem. Or the "bad egg/black sheep" as some refer to it. But... Whatever "twin" connection thing we have going on the other could never refuse to be separated. Not like this. Fate made sure we are going to stick together. All we can really do now and for the rest of our lives is hope that Fate continues to keep it that way.

    We are Birds of the same feather after all!

    How much superstition is there?

    To each of us we do seem to in fact hold misfortune. That much has proven time and time again to sadly be true... Each with a different curse which could happen randomly sometimes. But... Together we both seem to pose a nasty threat upon others. Where sometimes ends up occurring more and more frequently.


    Shadey's Curse ~ I appear to have been cursed with the gift of bad stuff happening directly to me and me alone. Everyone else is fine. Only I am the magnetical force that tends to surround me with awful problems no matter who I am with unless if I'm with my twin brother. All is well and all is safe as if his very presence repels it away.
    Much to the dismay of others apparently. It would then appear -my gift- likes to single someone else out to become the next unlucky victim. To cause them to directly have bad accidents very often. It likes to target whoever happens to be nearby until I have once again been distanced from my brother. Then my curse returns back to me.

    Pipsqueak's Curse ~ I appear to have been cursed with the gift of bad stuff happening to others. Namely towards whoever it is I am trying to help out and everyone I'm surrounded by as if it's some kind of weird "Domino Effect". Sometimes it almost looks as if the chain doesn't ever want to stop unless I am reunited with my twin brother. All activity stops and all feels as it should be as if his very presence clears the atmosphere away.
    Much to the dismay of others apparently. It would appear -my gift- loves putting on quite a show. To cause an entire village, town or even a whole city to be in such a panic as to why things have become ever so lively all of a sudden until I have once again been distanced from my brother. Then my curse returns back to me.

  • Who is Who?

    At first glance you will never tell us apart. We are -Identical Twins- after all!

    Once you get to know either or both of us, however, you will find out exactly just much different we are compared to the other. And for those who do wish to take the time in figuring us out based on just appearances though, we do have one little key alteration and one other exception for the sake of saving some confusion if you're even bothering to allow us to being around you long enough to even care. Or accidently stuck with both for any unexpected amount of time longer than you had wished to have.

    Look Closer...
    ~Shadey's Left eye is Yellow and the Right is Bright Green
    ~Pipsqueak's Left eye is Bright Green and the Right is Yellow
    *Shadey has painted only a single long hair-like face feather to be Dark Purple dipped in Red
    *When using any Spells under 'The Fiend' or 'Special Perk' lists, Shadey's eyes change to the colors of his Otherworldly Patron for the entire duration of how long said spell lasts
