• Background

  Ulna was in her prime. A young woman who was a child from an immigrant family out of Poland. She lived in the Americas for three years, in her comfortable family home, gaining a modest education so she might find work as a governess in someone's home, until such a time as she saw fit to settle and marry.
  
  Unfortunately, the man she chose didn't sit very well with her parents. She was forced to sneak behind their backs to see him, and soon enough found herself unwed and with child, a serious issue within her community. Rather then subjecting her family to the shame of a bastard child, her mother began to poison Ulna's food, killing both Ulna and her unborn fetus.
  
  To this day Ulna remains in her family home, sharing her tragedy with those who will listen, and taking it out on people who remind her of her parents.
