• Biography

  When he was but an infant, Kenji was taken from his home by the Mountain Wind Ninja Clan and underwent rigorous training in their form of Ninjutsu. Out of all of his clan-mates he was only ever close with one, and when that man died during a mission and Kenji was forbidden to mourn his loss by clan law, he began to question the way of the ninja and thus left the clan. He teamed up with another rouge ninja, Rro of the Silent Rain Clan, and together they assisted the Swordskins in defeating the three Ninja Clans and restoring peace to the Blade Lands in what was known as the War of Five Armies. After the war, Kenji began to rebuild the three broken clans, reviving them under the teachings of honor and virtue, much like the Samurai before him. He thus became known as the Ninja King and he and his clan took the place of the Swordskins as the guardians of the Blade Lands.
