From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Boe, Boe, Boe.. What can I say about Boe? We've known one another for... a little over three years, I think? She's great. Oh Boe. There isn't really enough space to offer all the things that make Boe great. I've never seen an RP with the foresight and tenacity that Boe has. Boe is a ridiculous human being and I love her for it. There is just so much to appreciate about someone with the ability to sit next to the world's grumpiest and remain light hearted enough to spread the laughter. It's a beautiful talent that I wish I too could possess. She's good at helping me when I need to bounce ideas for continuity or organization, and never minds the help. 10/10 what a freakin peach. Boe is someone I've known for a long time, and while we haven't always been in step, we've always gotten along. Being someone who doesn't often associate with new people, and shies away from roleplay for the most part, I never expected to become such good friends with Boe, but this lady wormed her way in and stuck, and I'm so happy that she did! I've known Boe for quite some time and we've struggled through our rough-patches and come out clean. This woman has so many characters I don't know how she can keep up with it, but make no mistake her characters are each vastly different and they leave an indelible mark on the readers mind. Kindhearted with a kindred spirit for fantastical things, Derick and I were in cahoots some long time ago and only recently reunited. The experience was a sort of crossing of artistic paths that landed us together in a very extraordinary setting. We've been in and out together ever since!
