  • Personality: Bialis is very slow to trust, but quick to give the impression of trust. Generally very active. Jealous of bards, loves their craft, can be very brash.
  • Mannerisms: Eyes tend to be fixed at some distant point. He is friendly to those he considers unimportant, and prefers to silently follow those he considers important. When he speaks, it is generally with humour.
  • Likes: The standard things -- Warmth, good food, cute furry animals -- as well as the thrill of thievery and winning. He enjoys the company of bards despite his jealousy, likes to sing. He even likes the company of other thieves and criminals. He seems also to have quite an attachment to his scarf.
  • Dislikes: Mages -- particularly sorcerors. Bialis doesn't much care for large dogs, and isn't fond of military types.
  • Phobias: Moderate phobia of fire -- while a fireplace or a candle doesn't bother him much, any fire where it shouldn't be (e.g. fireballs, out-of control, jumping out of the fireplace) can easily terrify him.

  NOTES ON THIS CHARACTER:
  
  Bialis Conroy is a character with considerable secrets, and is not entirely what he appears to be. While much of the above stats are entirely accurate to one who doesn't know great details about him, some are mere covers he maintains to the outside world. However, unless your character is a mind-reader, it is unreasonable to know what of the above is real or fake. Secrets and spoilers are to be learned through RP, but for those concerned -- yes, he really is a nonmagical human, not a vamp/were/etc, so don't be worried about him possibly ruining a planned genre.
  
  Bialis was designed for D&D, and does not function well as a character outside of a medieval fantasy (or similar) setting.
  
  Bialis comes with a certain amount of continuity/ready-made plot, though that plot thread can be ignored or dropped depending on the situation.
