Who Are They?
An army of lost souls. People fed-up with the world they live in. They have been described by many outsiders as a cult, but the truth is much deeper than that.

The Goal
Their goal, to this day, remains unknown to the general populace, and those within don't speak a word of it to outsiders. There is speculation, but nothing has been confirmed.

Joining and Initiation
Everyone who joins ranks with The Corrupted are put through some sort of initiation, which varies from person to person. Initations are devised by the higher-ups, most typically The Queen and her right hand man. The initiation is meant as a test for one to prove their devotion to the cause.

The Price You Pay
The Queen is powerful and will share her power with those under her if they so choose. Those that choose to take a piece of her power, however, must give something of value in return. The price is different for every person that agrees to pay it, but is typically something of high-value to them specifically. New recruits are forbidden from asking for a share of power, and everyone that joins must prove themselves worthy of it in some way.

Corrupted Forms
Everyone who chooses to partake in The Queen's power is additionally granted a new form referred to as their "Corrupted Form". These forms take on the appearance of an animal or creature of some kind. For example; Damien's Corrupted Form is a Crow, while Gayu's is a Dragon. These forms are almost always uniformly solid black in color.

Relationships
Those who have devoted themselves to The Corrupted are forbidden to form romantic relationships with others, even within their own ranks. Exceptions are made for those of higher positions, but those whom are allowed to, more often than not, choose to forgo forming these types of strong bonds with others.

Honorifics
While not required, it's often looked down upon for those of lower positions to not address those of higher positions with a proper title. Those that don't use proper titles may even find themselves in danger from their fellow members, especially when it comes to The Queen. It is not at all uncommon for someone who doesn't address her properly to be roughed up by other lower-ranking members, as it is seen as disrespectful.

Leadership and Hierarchy
Everyone who is a part of The Corrupted answers to The Queen, otherwise known as Corruption. She is Top-dog. No exceptions. When she is absent, her Second-In-Command, Damien, takes the reins. The hierarchy of The Corrupted is much like that of an actual Army, but getting promoted to a higher rank is often difficult and requires the completion of difficult tasks or feats. Top positions are only ever given to those whom The Queen trusts entirely.

Abandoners
While the cases of people abandoning and betraying the cause after joining are very few and far in between, it always comes with a price. These people are found out very quickly and have their memories of their time with The Corrupted wiped to keep them from telling it's secrets. These memories are essentially erased in a way that makes them impossible to regain. If an abandoner was granted power from The Queen, it is stripped from them. These people also very rarely survive for long after abandonment, as they are usually hunted by those devoted to the cause.
