    eUPd0XQ.gifHellspawns are a unique creation of my own design, owned by myself. While they represent a specific character modification, they are not a private or regulated species. This means that anyone can modify their character to become a Hellspawn, but there are some important details to consider, such as how Hellspawns are created, their strengths and weaknesses, and the physical enhancements they possess.

    There is no application process required for transforming a character into a Hellspawn. However, I ask that you communicate with me beforehand so we can discuss any necessary details and ensure everything aligns properly before your character undergoes the change.

    Any non-private species is eligible to become a Hellspawn. However, if you play a private species and wish to turn your character into a Hellspawn, you will need to provide proof of consent from the species owner or a moderator granting approval for a Hellspawn variant of that species.

  • How Hellspawns are Created

    Hellspawns are created through the signing of a soul contract with a high-ranking demon. When an individual agrees to this contract, they receive something they desire, but always at the expense of their soul. The contract is crafted to ensure the person ultimately gets "the short end of the stick." For example, if someone wished to bring a loved one back from the dead, the loved one might return as a lifeless shell, only to die again shortly in a tragic event. Despite the twisted outcome, the demon considers their side of the contract fulfilled, and the person’s soul is still forfeit.

    In order to fulfill this contract, the person must either die and have their soul condemned to hell, or offer a soul exchange. The soul exchange typically involves a sacrifice aligned with what the person requested from the demon. For example, a person may need to ritually sacrifice others to complete their side of the deal. However, these sacrifices permanently bar the individual from heaven.

    Once the soul exchange is completed, the person is given two choices: they can either go to purgatory to avoid the lake of fire, or they can choose to become a Hellspawn.

    Choosing to become a Hellspawn permanently alters their appearance. All Hellspawns develop a pair of black wings with crystal thumb claws, crystal devil horns that sprout from their forehead, and glowing red eyes. The color of the crystals varies depending on the sin they were dedicated to when they signed the initial contract. The crystal can be a solid color or a blend, representing the individual's dominant sins. Each sin corresponds to a different color:
    • Greed (gold): If the person wished for wealth.
    • Sloth (blue): If the person desired a comfortable, easy life.
    • Lust (red): If the person wished for love or sexual desire.
    • Envy (green): If they coveted something from another.
    • Pride (silver): If they sought success or recognition.
    • Wrath (orange): If their wish stemmed from a desire for revenge.
    • Gluttony (violet): If they indulged in excessive consumption or desires.
    The power of a Hellspawn varies based on the sin they were reborn into, with some sins conferring stronger attributes than others. The hierarchy is as follows:
    • Strongest sins: Wrath, Greed, Lust.
    • Moderate sins: Pride, Gluttony.
    • Weakest sins: Sloth, Envy.
    Hellspawns are driven by their sin and will often try to persuade others to indulge in the same. After all, misery loves company.

  • Abilites

    • Portal Creation: Hellspawns have the ability to create portals to Hell, granting them access to the underworld. Once there, they can claim and own any type of property they desire, ranging from lavish mansions to ominous dungeons.
    • Enchantment Abilities (Minor): They can imbue objects with curses, granting those items minor Hellspawn abilities, adding a dark and infernal edge to otherwise mundane items.
    • Immense Wealth: As Hellspawns, they have access to the vast wealth controlled by Greed, allowing them to tap into vast stores of currency and resources.
    • Super Size and Strength: Upon becoming a Hellspawn, they grow significantly larger and stronger. The exact size and strength vary depending on the individual’s species and the sin they are tied to, as each sin grants different levels of power.
    • Immortality: While they can be killed in the mortal world, their souls return to Hell upon death, where they recover. Once they have fully recovered, they can return to the mortal plane, making them functionally immortal.
    • Accelerated Healing: Hellspawns have a heightened ability to heal quickly, and this healing factor stacks on top of any existing regenerative abilities their original species may possess.
    • Hellfire Conjuration: They can generate and manipulate standard fire, as well as conjure hellfire, which burns far hotter and more intensely than normal flames.
    • Language Mastery: Hellspawns are imbued with a language filter, allowing them to understand and speak all demonic and mortal Terran languages. However, this ability does not extend to extraterrestrial or interdimensional languages.

  • Drawbacks/Weaknesses

    • Holy Allergy: Hellspawns have a severe allergic reaction to holy items and individuals. Symptoms include headaches, sneezing, stomach upset, lethargy, rashes, and even burns when in prolonged contact with anything holy.
    • Holy Ground: On holy ground or in sacred spaces, Hellspawns are completely powerless. If they remain in such places for too long, they will die and be sent back to Hell.
    • Morally Good Deeds: Performing truly good deeds, those that would be praised by angels, causes adverse effects for Hellspawns, similar to their allergy to holy items. While they can treat others kindly, this is often motivated by ulterior motives connected to their sin. Acts of genuine goodness, however, can make them physically ill.
    • Personality Disorders: All Hellspawns suffer from various personality disorders, which are directly tied to the sin that dominates them. These disorders vary but always reflect their core sin, influencing their behavior and mental state.
    • Loss of Holy Abilities: If a character with holy abilities or access to divine powers becomes a Hellspawn, they lose all those abilities permanently. Their transformation into a Hellspawn nullifies any prior connection to holiness.
