  • Personality

    Edan is anything but a quiet, subdued person. Often times, he is the life of the party with always something to say to anyone who wishes to sit and talk. He finds immense joy in entertaining others and has years of stories waiting to be told. He isn't one to turn down a glass of good ale, though never drinks in excess. While it appears that is he carefree and, indeed, in many instances it could appear he is careless, Edan always endeavors to be in control of himself and, hopefully, the situation.

    He is extremely keen sensed and uses his observations to his advantage. His naturally charming personality, more often than not, is entirely for show. While Edan is inarguably a vain man, thinking himself the prettiest in the room, he tends to play into that stereotype that he is well aware of more than not. For Edan, life is a show - so why not give the people what they expect?

    Being long lived, the bard has very few that he keeps close and even fewer that get to see him at his best. Protecting his heart as much as he can has always been important to him. After losing the only family he ever had, it's easy to see why. While it's great fun to invoke emotion in others, it is far less fun to feel the emotions for himself. His preference to hold folks at arms length seems almost at odds with the fact he is rarely alone, preferring to be surrounded by people.

    Edan endeavors to never lie. He will talk in circles and deflect, but lying is a line he cannot cross due to his fey blood. As such, Edan is earnest and it is easy to trust him. With good reason, it seems, as Edan keeps secrets close to his chest and can be trusted to be diplomatic if nothing else. He makes an excellent adviser - though one would almost wish he would take his own advice.
