Eucalyptso

An Eastern Sergal hailing from deep within the Magoe forest of Tal in a weapon & armor forging village they call Kazune. The population is only about 1,500 and includes some other species.

Growing up Eucalyptso grew an affinity for foraging spear heads and whittling staffs out of various woods - the Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree being his favorite for it's beautiful colors and similarity to his name. Euca often keeps game feathers in his teal-dyed mane as well as sprigs of eucalyptus. He also dyes parts of his fur a minty green color in honor of the forest in which he was molded by.

His tribe, known as The Silverflame Clan, is made up of fierce warriors, highly skilled hunters and craftsmen.
It is said the name comes from how they will hold their iron and steel weapons in the air in bright sunlight, to let the sun's (or "The Great Ball of Flames)" energy "charge" them, and it is often the last thing they do before before going into battles.


The Silverflame Clan are deeply religious and worship the sun as their deity; taking the time to pray twice a day as it rises and sets. Every household has a personal shrine where they light a candle and ring a bell (or gong) in the evenings as it sets to honor their ancestors. They believe their ghosts awaken in the evening and lurk among the living world unable to be seen by living eyes. The bells, chimes, and gongs are struck to keep them at peace and wish them luck as they journey among living world until their souls (or our "inner fire)" are cast back into the sun. Some think that no matter where their loved one's spirits are in the world, they can hear their family's chiming of bells.


Silverflames are rarely seen at night due to a belief that evening time is for spirits. They will light a candle and meditate for about 30 minutes to an hour before sunset. The candle is blown out once the world goes dark and they go to bed soon after.
In the mornings they will meditate while basking as it rises in the sky. They also collect crystals (that they bathe in the light during the day) to decorate their shrines.
